Just a suggestion with regards to your garage door and lift...buy a Liftmaster 3800PLD side-mount opener (the model might be slightly different now) and have your garage door track raised close to the ceiling. Looks like you have plenty of room above the car and won't have to pull so far forward on the lift.

Congratulations... That car is just jaw dropping. Ditto on the getting a jack shaft garage door opener. Holy crap, what if someone accidentally hits the opener when the car is up... ? Also, the weight on the lift is extremely front loaded like that.

Looks like you have plenty of room above the car and won't have to pull so far forward on the lift.

George, so I went with the Wayne Dalton side lift assembles and high lift door hangers. In fact, I took the opportunity to change out my garage doors as well to Wayne Dalton "insulated" doors as well. Been very happy with the set up the past 10 years, zero issues. I put a ACLifts 4 post in the 3rd car garage and if I ever do another lift in the two car garage, it will be a single post side lift. Beyond that, I would have to pony up big bucks for a complete new house or a subterantian lift underground. I am lucky my wife lets me keep a couple of toys around still. With our little kids I don't get to spend much time in any of them these days anyway.

I did the same openers in my garage, as well as converted the doors to high lift for my 4 post as well. It really surprised me the garage had 14 foot ceilings with conventional doors and openers..............

I wouldn't worry too much about front loading the lift though, each post alone can almost support the weight of a Viper.

Center band is competition blue. Looks incredible in person, pictures do nothing for it. I was going back and forth between this one and GTS-R but I remember thinking how 150 launch editions were just too many when they came out in 13. I was nervous about the wing not matching the body. However in person I'm so relieved that I made the right choice. The carbon fiber detail on the wing and front dive planes really compliment it well and I think a painted wing would be too much. Having said that the GTS-R is epic too and anyone getting any special edition is very fortunate.

In regards to questions on the lift, it's a 9,000 pound capacity four post by quality lifts. I've had it for 5 years now and I'm really satisfied. I set the garage door to open just enough so vehicles can get out but not too much where it hits the car. 13 foot garage ceiling helped.

Just unloading and driving it up the driveway I've already experienced why it's called "extreme." What a difference from my GTS. 5 model years newer has brought more refinement too it seems. Best super car out there. It wins in performance, price point, exclusivity and potential collectible component of ownership. Looks like brake burnishing, engine break in and extreme extension attachments will need to wait until spring. I'm do glad the snow we got over the weekend was cleared by the time the hauler arrived. I was watching weather forecasts in 6 states for weeks. Haha.

My hatch doesn't pop up when I hit the button. I have just been assuming it is because of the weight of the wing and stanchions. It's also a '17.

I love the dealer edition car. I like it even better than the GTS-R. I will likely add vinyl to my car to give the same look although my base is Lamborghini Balloon White Pearl so I'm hoping it looks even more incredible. There is nothing about that car that doesn't scream America! Be proud.

Thanks all. Only two dealers were able to sell this one. You've most likely deduced that I went with Roanoke. I dealt with John Gastman and must say he is the real deal.

Me neither. How does that work? My buddy has a similar garage and i was going to install a lift there and keep my acr there for the winter, but his garage door would hit the car on the lift when opening.

He has the lift and the car placed far enough into the garage that the door can open high enough to get the cars in and out. It works with a deep garage. Snorman's suggestion is what you need to do if you have a tall enough garage but can't place the car and lift far enough away from the open door.

Here's an interior shot. I saved my custom floor mats I had made for my GTS but looking at this now I see the steering wheel has a red stryker logo instead of silver so I might order another set to match. Then again, the ACR came with decent mats with red borders as is. I still need to remove a bunch of plastic still on the guts from the factory.

I should have more interior pics soon as wifey is hosting Christmas Eve so I'm sure the machine will be brought down from the lift and admired with many glasses of red wine & smiles :)

Thanks. It was a nail biter watching weather reports in your parts though. Seeing 50 car pile up accidents on highways with fatalities in the mid west on the news was worry some. Glad my car was kept inside in a warehouse and was safely transported in an enclosed trailer. 1,000 miles was quite a hike. Feel bad for folks expecting delivery in the snow.
