Hi Everyone.
Just wondering how many of you have problems at noise limited tracks when you have headers, hi flow cats but say a stock exhaust installed?
A lot of the tracks here have between 98-103db static noise limits with revs at 2/3 maximum when measured from 2 feet. Drive by for some is 98db
So any personal experience would be great!.
I'm about to pull the trigger installing these on my ACR but really don't want to have a great sounding powerful car that I can't use on track because of the noise limits!
Cheers.

I have the ARH full catless exhaust and have not had problems with noise limits. I ran autoX at NCM, they have a 103 limit and were checking every car running in the event. You should be fine with the setup you mentioned.

Many thanks that's really reassuring to know!
Much appreciated for that!!

At 98 db I doubt you'll make it. Maybe at 103. Is your car with headers and the high flow louder than stock?
There's a track here that has a 98db limit and i see a ton of stock cars get booted off. A bone stock new Z06 was 108db!

Biggest problem with the Gen 3/4/5 Vipers is the side exhaust. It points right at the sound trucks that are used by some tracks. Cars with rear exit exhausts can get away with a little more. If you could install some kind of turn down it would help. Easier on a Gen 3/4 not so much on a 5.

My 06 Super charged car with stock manifolds and Corsa Cat back would exceed the 103 DB limit at New Jersey Motorsports Park. It was pretty loud. Some tracks have days where they raise the limit or have no limits. I got black flagged at NJMP but then the SCCA realized the sound limits were not in effect that day so they sent me back out.

My 2015 TA with full Bellanger headers and exhaust isn't too noisy (quieter than my old 06) but I've never been at a track with limits or ones that were in effect at the time.
