Gatlinburg fire

According to the news,the Park Vista hotel where we had our Tail of the Dragon dinner was just destroyed in the fire.

Wow , seen it in the news. Hope they have it under control.

Tim and Shirley Morrison lost their house and all their cars. Fortunately they and their pets are safe. Several members lost cabins. Don't know if the Park Vista was damaged but they did get all the guests out. Please keep the folks in Tennessee in your thoughts and prayers.

Been watching this closely since last night; this is absolutely terrifying. Thoughts are with those who've been devastated by the fires, to those who are evacuating and to those brave folks who are battling the fires and saving lives.

Gatlinburg has been very good to the VOA. I have talked with Joel and Jeff to see if there is something this group can do to give back and help the good people of Gatlinburg. If anyone has any ideas or input contact Jeff or Joel.
