Gunmetal pearl GTS r blue pics with stripes

Hi all. 02 RT/10 owner and soon to be (hopefully) owner of a 2017 1 of 1 here, and struggling with the decision of exterior color and stripe color. I'm pretty sure I've got it narrowed down to gunmetal pearl or GTS-r blue for the exterior (a custom color seems too hard...lol) but the stripe color is tougher. Can anyone point me to pics of these colors with stripes I can drool over and hopefully help me decide? Many thanks. Eric

Pick a great custom color and there is no need for stripes. You can do it!

But unfortunately, you can't order a 1-of-1 with the ACR package any longer so those stripes won't be available to you.
The configurator is a good way to see what the different colors look like.

I think I'm gonna go with the TA1 or just aerodynamic package, rather than ACR or TA2. But would be awesome to be able to get ACR stripes on a non-ACR

Have you seen the gun metal in person? I was all over that color. I went to the viper experience and they had one there as one of the ones we drove. Up close it looked awesome with the serious metal flake, but more than 10 ft away and it looked like a black covered in dust or dirt. I found myself softening on the color after seeing it zooming around a track and autoX. I still like it a lot, but it's not as nice as I thought it would be.

The GTS-R blue, 1st let me say I've never been a fan of blue, but this color is amazing. I've really considered it. Although after 4 black vipers, I'm hoping to not fall for another dark color, but dayum that GTS-R blue is gorgeous, alone, or in stripes, in the sun and inside. Just my 2 cents. Choosing colors is really tough on these cars, I hate white cars, and I swear on the viper the white is shockingly nice. Enjoy figuring it out, there's no bad choice.

Oh on stripes, personally not a fan of the fang stripes, like on a base SRT. GTS dual stripes rock, and as you say, the ACR stripes are the bomb. With what you're looking at, I'd think selver or black would be number one choices. I did see a gunmetal with red GTS stripes and it popped like crazy, couldn't believe I liked it, looked so custom.

You can always add vinyl stripes of any color, and in any pattern, after the fact.

I have to agree with you on the comment about the color looking black. I am always having to correct people that the car isn't black. Usually when people see it in the shade or at night. But in the sun it's stunning. A ton of flake in the paint.

Never had anyone tell me it looks covered in dust though.

I don't have an ACR but you can at least get the idea of the color change. See in the photo in the driveway it looks almost black....but out in the morning sun you can see the gray and the flake.

Great stuff guys, thanks for the continuing assistance. I haven't seen gunmetal pearl in person, only pictures, and it does seem to change depending on lighting. My current 02 is graphite metallic, which I love. For some reason, I tend to gravitate towards the darker gray metallic. My 14 Audi RS7 is Daytona gray pearl. As long as the gunmetal pearl is very metallic, I think I'll be happy. Of course, the GTS-r blue is also intriguing. I'm also planning on getting the advanced aerodynamic carbon fiber bits on the outside of the car, so that's a consideration. And a sepia interior as well.

On the stripe, I've considered silver, black, red (would love to see a real world pic of this), and my newest thought is something close to a stryker orange stripe, possibly something that would tie in with the factory orange calipers. The orange calipers look sick.

Lots to think about, first world problems as they say.
