I removed my carpet, trying to locate a loose object causing noise behind my drivers seat and came across this wire - does anyone have an idea what this wire is for?

Ground for the fuel cell? With carpet there it's libel to pick up static electricity. That's an educated guess, I don't know for certain.

Did you buy the Car new? If not it might be a previous owners sub wire

Ask the previous owner it's a small community shouldn't be hard to find

That is a pretty thin gauge wire for a sub.

I've pinged the previous owner.. since its not connected to anything I've just tucked it out of sight for now.

That blue wire could be the remote turn on lead for an aftermarket amplifier. Seeing as how that is actually at least 3-4 separate wires id say that is also wiring to convert speaker wire inputs into RCA jacks so that an amplifier will have signal...

If i were to guess.

If you have a multimeter, you can test the blue wire for 12V. If it is the remote power wire for an amp you will get 12V when the ignition or radio is turned on.
