I just wanted to take a moment and draw some attention to some great people that I am lucky to know.

Recently we had an event here in Tucson so I asked the attendees if a couple people would volunteer to go visit a young car enthusiast and Viper fiend I know who is fighting Leukemia. Immediately everyone on the event volunteered to go visit Noah. He had just recently gotten home from the hospital so we stopped by his house. He was overwhelmed with happiness at getting a train of Vipers to roll up to his house and make him feel like a rock star in front of his whole neighborhood and family.

So thank you to my fellow club members for making this young man's day. His mother told me he has been on cloud 9 ever since, talking about getting his own Viper when he is old enough.

Also, a special thanks to Ohio member Sam Goldfarb who made custom shirts for Noah and WOULD NOT allow me to pay for them. Sam, you are always a class act and your work is top notch. He put his shirt on right away. Thanks for helping to make this young man so happy.

Here is the thread in our AZ section with some photos. I will get some the ones from Facebook that his mother posted so you can see how happy he is.

Here are some photos his mother took and posted. Noah is the one in the Co-Pilot shirt and the other people in the cars are his family that he got to share the experience with.

Great pics, Jeff - thanks for sharing. It was a great time and the best part of our cruise was at the end, when we paid that special visit to Noah. Thanks again for setting it all up!

The VOA Ohio Region and VOA National is very lucky to have a person like Sam Goldfarb as a member of the Viper community.

He is an awesome resource to the club. His work is always very well done. And as I said, generous. He would not allow me to pay for the shirts no matter how much I tried. He showed me the proofs, I said I like it, and 3 days later they were at my house.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I honestly didn't do much, it was everyone else willing to take time out of their day and Sam making the shirts that really made this. I just arranged a meeting time.

Noah gave me a keychain he made in his program for kids with leukemia and it is currently on my Viper key.

Thanks again to everyone. And next year my goal is to have the club work with the cancer center directly. I'm sure I'll have no shortage of volunteers with how giving you all are.

Asked why not who. Just figured there had to be a story behind it(won it at the casino, gambling addict, etc)

Reading is fundamental............

Great on you guys for doing that. You made their day. Judging from the photos, they will never forget it. :drive:

Yes, 99, reading is fundamental. According to BMW's last response, the AZ VOA president is also a gambling addict...lol.

Kudos to the AZ Club for doing something that really mattered.
