Thanks for the kind words everyone, as well as your patience. We got back from the quick testing trip and hit the ground running as usual but we did manage to get the video put together today.

First, we need to thank our customer Jake for giving Nth Moto the opportunity to build this car for him - he forever gets to be the first person to own and pilot the Gen V Viper platform into the 8 second zone! This project started off as another built engine, heads/cam twin turbo system from Nth Moto but after driving the completed car he couldn't help but think that it would just be a monster with a properly engineered automatic setup. Given that some of his other high power cars have had them and what his primary intended use for the car was, it was clear that a super cleanly installed auto was going to be the best option for him. And so, we set out to build an automatic install as OEM appearing as possible, which resulted in the picture that was posted earlier in this thread.

The quick specs on the car as as follows:

Nth Moto ATI Auto Conversion
18" Wheels And DOT Drag Radials

Some great news for those interested in twin turbocharging their Viper with Nth Moto is that this car features many of the same components as most of our other Gen V Viper builds including the electronics, fuel system, engine oiling system, and turbo system. This is not a dedicated drag racing and/or event style build. That goes to show that even an Nth Moto "bolt on" twin turbo car comes with much of the DNA already in place to have a very serious performer on your hands should you decide to want more power and speed in the future.

The beauty is the ease of race and driveability that this vehicle build has - this video will show just how effortless a sub 8.50 pass is and how settled the car is down track. Especially when you consider that this is the third pass for the car and the driver and it doesn't have a 15" rear drag wheel combo or skinnies up front... it looks just like any one of this forum's owners' Viper.

What is going on here? This has to be some kind of David Blaine magic, that pass actually irks me the way that thing launches and how soft the RPMs sound. It doesn't sound normal at all! It's like your average 3-gear pull from a stop light and your foot is barely at half throttle. 171? Are you sure? Did IMSA apply BoP rules to this thing, restrict the intake and limit the RPMs? Just...how? It seems so bizarre!

Great work though seriously, my mind is blown.

I will venture a guess that the car has a 3.07 diff, therefore, making the pull look a bit smoother. You are right though, what an amazing output of smooth/even power to the ground, magic indeed.

This build has our strongest rear end option and our TH400 conversion. We went through great lengths to make sure the interior shift assembly looks stock - that's one reason people have nicknamed it a "Nth Moto style automatic". The pass in the above video was made on a maximum of just 21.5 PSI boost. I'll have to check data logs to confirm, but I believe the even faster 173 MPH pass was made at the same (or extremely close to) the same boost.
