I know very well that others have asked this same question but the only answer that i can find is by changing suspension like MCS. I also read about lowering caps but not sure what all thats involved with that. On previous Z06s they have lowering bolts but i guess its just that easy, huh. The car just seems to be like a 4 wheel drive, its up there. lol
As a comparison I daily a C5 Z06 and its much lower and it hasn't been lowered.

Looking for advice and suggestions.

Viper Exchange has billet lowering caps and many have ordered them with good success. Andy aka Flatout will pipe in soon I am sure from VE.

Does anyone have experience with the lowering caps and track at Laguna seca?

Maybe it's just me, but I don't see much difference between the two.

I used the eibach springs in my car, lowered it more than the caps and still pulled 1.5 60' at the track

Oh, there was a big difference. I was amazed.

Any alignment changes needed with the lowering caps?

I prefer a slightly raked stance on my cars. I know the front lowering caps are supposed to have a slight more drop as compared to the rear caps, but it's indiscernible from what I understand.

Anyone choose to install only the front lowering caps? Curious if the rear looks out of proportion if not lowered with the front.

According to Eibach's website they don't have a listing for Gen V Vipers.

I am assuming if you have the base suspension older Viper Eibach springs may fit?

I didn't do any adjustments.

The caps work out to like $400 or so for maybe 0.75" of lowering...not like the Corvettes where it's free to lower and you control how much

Are you implying a Corvette is better at something than a Viper?

I would have to say the lowering caps were just I what I was looking for. 5/8" drop in the front /rear - looks perfect! I did not need the alignment. Have driven 3k miles since and tire wear is perfect(handles much better!!). tractive from VE next!

Same here, 9k miles since the lowering caps are on. Does not scrape at all if your careful

I'm a big fan of MCS. I put them on my GTS and wow the ride is much better. Looks bad ass too, you can adjust the height to your liking. Handles fantastic as well. A win win. I went with single adjustable. If I were to track it frequently I would have gotten the dual adjustables like my ACR's Bilsteins have. Mark Jorgensen will set you up with all the info you need on street settings, track etc.

I've had the VE caps and VE TracTive. Caps are great if you're looking for a look, but no comparison to the performance of TracTive suspension on the street and more importantly the track.

MCS or Tractive is definitely on the list but it'll be awhile.
For looks the caps will work perfectly. So, Next question. Are they easy to install?

Just curious, has anyone used Ohlins suspension?

Yes, easy to install.

The first one was little long. After I figured out the process it was bang, bang easy.

Definitly a no go on spring caps with TA aero. Just getting out of the driveway I would have scraped. I have about 1/4-3/8" clearance coming in at an angle and my driveway aint even that bad. Entrance to plazas would be much worse. I might have a trick up my sleeve tho ;)

If I remember correctly they are labeled front and rear
