Your like ACR.
But you don't like CCB brakes - Due to the high maintenance cost on rotor and pad replacement and uncertainty of supply.
You also don't care about 19" wheels - Due to its racing tire is not easily available and cost higher than 18".
You also have concern of aftermarket 18" wheels that claimed can fit OE's CCB brake kit - For it can compromise the strength integrity, and the tight clearance between caliper and wheel barrel which can ruin the wheel by road gravel/stone.
What else is your concern?.
Are you looking for a brake kit (Iron or CCB) built for track duty, but can fit nicely under most 18" wheels - Better yet you don't have to change or swap the spindles even if you are upgrading your brake from TA.
The title was entered as w/19" wheels -Hope moderator can fix it.

Same as in other motorsports communities, I noticed a lot of discussion in finding a "proper" wheels to fit stock brake.
18" solution for all you ACR guys! (http://driveviper.com/forums/threads/15002-18-quot-solution-for-all-you-ACR-guys!?highlight=brake)
But I see no discussion on brake options - Can an upgrade brake system be made available that will fit "general" 18" wheels so you have more freedom of choosing ALL available 18" wheels in aftermarket besides OE.
The answer is Yes and the kit shall be made available in just a few weeks.
Another valuable and affordable (purchase/maintenance) brake system proudly presented to Viper community by RacingBrake.

Warren, This kit seems to be exactly what I would want on an ACR (given it doesn't seem like you can order an ACR with steel brakes any longer). What about the rears? If I remember your braking bias chart the ACR's bias with CCBs was a bit different than a regular Viper or a TA. Would the rear bias kit be required to balance the braking given you are slightly decreasing the diameter of the rotor? Do you anticipate any impact on the ACR's ABS?
Thanks,

Oh, and what about cost for the CCB and steel optoins?

TA rear has too much bias which we found out and offered a reduced bias kit that you installed, which Dodge made the same correction (w/reduced bias) in their new CCB rear set up. Due to this new rear caliper has different piston sizes and offset than TA, so the CCB rotor offset should also be made differently than TA.
Please refer to this thread for detail discussion on the bias analysis and correction (TA/RB/ACR).
New kit under development, improving GenIII+IV brake balance for track/autocross use (http://driveviper.com/forums/threads/14877-New-kit-under-development-improving-GenIII-IV-brake-balance-for-track-autocross-use?highlight=racingbrake)
CCB rear rotor is 360mm vs. TA's 355mm, the effect in diameter difference is negligible in my opinion and I believe the reason of using 360x32mm CCB is because it's the same rear for Ferrari F458, Aston Martin DBS, Audi R8, and the newest 2017 NSX etc. that Brembo makes. So it's logical to assume that Brembo can not justify to make 355x32 specifically just for Viper.
The good news is for 360mm diameter discs we have them in 26/28/32/36mm thickness (for various applications - 26/28 is more for rear; 32/36 is more for front). So no problem in making a rear rotor with 360x32mm for your CCB conversion.
Price will be announced later for the iron kit first, for CCB kit due we are limited to use 380x34mm (ZR1 Rear) so we need more time to verify if 380mm still can fit most 18" wheels, and resolve the e-brake compatibility.

I guess one of the questions that needs to be answered is are there limits to which 18" wheels can be used. Personally I have Sidewinder II's that I would like to use. I know they would have to be checked periodically to make sure they are holding up to the ACR's down force. What other wheels would people like to use?

According to this post http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/gt3-gt2/360458-bbi-x-hre-19-hre-r101-over-pccbs-willow-springs.html, a 19" X 12" wheel is 21 Lbs. which means an 18" will be even lighter, possibly under 20 Lbs.

I think it would help a lot if you posted some pics showing the distance between your caliper and an 18" wheel. We can then compare that to pics of a stock caliper with an 18" wheel and see if the upgrade makes sense.

I'm glad I only do 1/4 , 38k buys a nice gen 2 or 3 viper, C6 Z06 or a nice down payment on a hellcat, ZL1 etc, I couldn't imagine spending 32k on brakes, but like I said I'm not a road course nut, and am not a multi millionaire.

Wait, wait.......wait......32K of what? U.S. Dollars? Where did you get this number from?

For carbon ceramic option please refer to this thread - Same caliper and pad so you can swap between Iron and CCM rotors.
