Hey everyone, I didn't step down from president just from shear exhaustion - I am working on a new business that we plan to startup over the next year. DON'T WORRY, we don't need investors! Although, there will be a Kickstarter.com campaign eventually :p. I can't divulge details at this time, but I figure I could take a shot in the dark and see if anyone in the club had recommendations for a location of our minimal startup in the Raleigh area. The business would be considered light-industrial (I think) and we are looking for somewhere to lease. Our requirements are somewhere near 1000sqft, has a cement floor, 4 walls, electric and plumbing available (we can run more lines if needed), and a door. We are very flexible and the cheaper, the better.

We'll require the space for a year or so to get initial product created, then we are going to test the market. If we have some success, then we can look at expanding to a larger location.

Any suggestions on where to begin our search would be helpful! Thanks

I know a contractor who has a building in apex that sounds like it would fit the bill. PM me your contact info if interested

Ask Kenny Hawkins if he has anything - sometimes he has something budget. 919-851-0242 office and tell him I sent you. If he does not - sometimes he knows folks that are local and looking to rent.

Mayhem just moved to a new location. You could check on their old location. If you find something bigger I might be interested in going in with you.

For those that were wondering, you can follow details of my new adventure on our FB page: http://facebook.com/raleighrumcompany

We are doing a kickstarter in the upcoming weeks to raise some funds, it will be posted on our FB page.

I'll stop hijacking our regional forums with my personal business now. Hopefully next year I can be a proper sponsor :)

Yea! We could fit quite a few Vipers in 1,000 sq ft area. We'll add it to our events list! :)

Best of luck Chris on your business venture. If you need any help or advice, feel free to give me a shout.
