I'm a definite maybe! 90% sure I'll be there and it may be a bit on the cool side to ride top down - but a wind shirt and the heat on high with windows up can be quite comfortable. :smileys-car-driving

After we have lunch, I'll be swinging by the house of a young guy (12yr old) named Noah who is fighting leukemia. He is recently out of the hospital. I am bringing him some custom made Viper shirts but would like to ask for some volunteers to come with me and really make an entrance. I gave him a ride in July but as the young Viper enthousiast he is, I know he would be over the moon to get to check out some other ones and share the experience with his family.

I'll mention it on Saturday but if you can spare an extra hour after lunch I would love to get as many cars as possible. Thanks all. I look forward to seeing you and hope you have some time to partake in this extra activity.

Great drive today. Thank for coming along.

But a special huge thanks to all of you for meeting my young friend Noah. He was so happy he was overwhelmed. Even though it's not unexpected, I'm always impressed at the kindness and warmth this club has. No one even hesitated when I brought it up about going to visit. So thank you to all my amazing club members. You really made his day, he won't stop talking about it for weeks I'm sure. Apparantly he had been excited all day that some of us might come by. His mother said that support like that is what keep him going when he is fighting cancer every day.

Such a great group of people. I'm honored to be part of a club wih you.

Yes, great drive and I have to say that the best part was at the end, when we all met Noah. Thanks for setting this up and allowing us the privilege of meeting with him and his family. These kinds of occasions definitely bring out the qualities that make our club great.

Here are a couple of photos from our visit. If you look very hard at the bottom photo, you can see Noah in the center. Hopefully other members were better photographers than I was :)

Aside from a great event, this is a wonderful thing to do for a child struggling with a serious disease. Imagine what this means to him. That's truly inspiring (and what we're all about). Great job guys!!
