For the first time last night while driving through my neighborhood street full of trick or treaters my passenger door randomly unlatched and swung open, never has done this even before R14 was completed, was wondering if any1 else had this happen after R14

Not here!! Sounds like that's what the recall was supposed to prevent!

Before the recall, my driver's door sometimes would take a few attempts to open, but it never popped open by itself.

Cars with these symptoms usually got water in the door handle. Was it raining? Recent car wash?

Texasram, this exact same thing happened to me also, the evening before it started happening I got stuck in a pretty big storm, what Policy Limits is saying has truth to it, it happened to me for about 4 days and after it dried out it stopped.

Scary. Somebody could get killed if that happened on a track in a turn. Passenger could be ejected.

Some used to tape the door handles before car wash to mitigate but then the recall hit. Stuff malfunctioning after recalls are performed have been noted on here.

Yes my car did it once post recall. Replaced the switch and it hasn't happened since.

Never happened on mine pre or post recall and i've washed the car around 150 times. Maybe because i dry it with a leaf blower? I dunno.

Glad no one got hurt.

Same with the leaf blower here, do you use 2 bucket method with grit gaurds, foam cannon and or foam gun to?

Absolutely all of the above (foam cannon).

Never happened (yet) pre or post recall here either. And I've driven the car (not intentionally) in some horrendous rain - including 60 miles on the PA Turnpike, with no issues.
