So this past weekend was the last cars and coffee in Lehigh Valley at the Steel Stacks and a bunch of us made the trip out there. More on that later.

Bryan, who's the president of the PA/WV VOA region, just picked up a sweet set of bronze Forgeline wheels for his Orange TA and it looks awesome! I'm sure Bryan will chime in with some more details, but I shot some pics of the car and you can check them out below.

Great photos. Exact same wheel that I was planning for my white TA. I may go dark tinted gold brushed though.

Those are spectacular pictures. I had never liked the brass look before, but seeing those photos and the great lighting makes them really pop. Nice combination with the orange.

Hard to beat the SW2 look on a GEN5, but these wheels look great! What sizes?

Yea, I'm not a fan of that wheel color .. normally, but wow, does that work on that TA. Great eye on putting that combo together, looks amazing.

Original SW2s for sale?
Ehhhhh I thought about it, but damn, in the event I ever want to sell the car, I'll never get any value out of these Forgelines. It's probably best I hang on to the SW2s. They aren't in the best of shape anyway. I doubt you'd be interested. ;)

Love the brass monkey finish but still not better than sw2's in matte black
I'm just not a fan of black wheels in general. I think a cool set of wheels needs some color contrast to make them not look like you're rollin' steels. And I really don't like a matte black wheel, because they always look dirty. And the SW2s are horrible to clean!!

Those are spectacular pictures. I had never liked the brass look before, but seeing those photos and the great lighting makes them really pop. Nice combination with the orange.
Thanks!!! I'm super glad it turned out well.

Hard to beat the SW2 look on a GEN5, but these wheels look great! What sizes?
These are the same as factory. 18x10.5 in the front and 19x13 in the rear. I can't afford new tires (anymore, lol), and wanted all the weight savings I could get, so I stuck with OE sizes. Also picked up a set of GORGEOUS Tikore titanium lug nuts. I almost don't want to touch them with a wrench.

IMO very few NON STOCK wheels look good on a Viper! Bryan those wheels look AMAZING!! Ron-pics are AWESOME!! Great shoot !!
Ron makes everything look amazing!! The car was a total dirtball. I don't know how he does it!

Yea, I'm not a fan of that wheel color .. normally, but wow, does that work on that TA. Great eye on putting that combo together, looks amazing.
Thanks!! It took me a while to decide on a color. I didn't want black, because that looks too close to stock, and as I explained above, I don't like black wheels. I did a lot of photoshopping. White = no. Red = no. Blue = Broncos. Green = Carrot. Yellow = no. Silver = maybe, but too plain. Clearcoated copper/rose/coffee/gray/titanium/smoke = another maybe, but ehhhh.

I decided on Forgeline's "Gloss Bronze". The gloss coat brightens the color up a lot (especially in the sun), I like the shine, and I wanted to be clear that I wasn't copying the Brass Monkey look. Those are too dark, and did I mention I wasn't a fan of matte things?

All in all, pulling the trigger was only slightly a gamble. I knew it would look good and definitely unique. Vipers are too damn cool to have ugly wheels, especially ones as top-shelf as Forgelines. When the dollar amount is high enough you can get away with some tacky shiz. Green wheels on a matte-purple Accord? Vomit. But green wheels on a matte-purple Aventador? Amazing.

Horrible to clean? i thought only the venoms would be horrible to clean, my matte black sw2's are a sinch actually, my skinny hands in a wash mit gets the entire wheel inside and out, u must have never washed yours?

Heck, I pull wheels off the car to clean. Dirty barrels are a major no-no for me. The SW2s just have too many nooks near the lip for me to effectively get to. I have to use a pinkynail and cloth to get the crud out, and even then, I long for Q-Tips. They also got some kind of scum on them. Maybe dried tire jizz from the last tire change? IDK, but I just hated it. Since I drive at least two hours to any event I go to, I'd have to spot clean, and they'd never come out well enough for my taste.

Maybe nobody ever noticed, but I notice, gnomesayin'?
