How long does it take after reaching E status ?

I was just wondering, how long does a viper take in Framing, Paint, and Trim stages respectively?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to your Gen 5 Viper! Your Viper started down the chassis line Today. ASSuming there are no tweaking issues when it gets to inspection, it could be ready to be shipped Tuesday Jan 21. (Monday is a holiday). . . . . . . Congrats on this step. . . . . . I have no idea how International shipping is scheduled.....your dealer should know something soon.

What part of "Your Car Should be finished by Tuesday Jan 21" don't you understand!?!? It will migrate thru several more status conditions thru this week. Don't worry about each one...... Baby Will almost certainly be Born by Jan 21

To your earlier question, the parts are at CAAP all pre-painted. Assembled from painted parts. No painting is done at CAAP

Since JonB said your Viper started down the chassis line today, I would guess you will be in final inspection by Friday. I never counted the number of Vipers it takes to fill the chassis and trim lines, but a good guess would be about 25. So at 6 a day.....??? Look at my avatar---that is the station where the final electrical tests and emission tests are run and where the headlights are aligned. Your car will be there at the end of the week. Enjoy your new Viper! Enjoy the anticipation. We all know the wait is tough, but well worth it to get exactly the car you want.

Thanks. I ordered the vehicle mid October, with my dealer expecting delivery "by the 15th of January". Since the car'll be shipped overseas, I expect delivery by early March.

I now find that at least TWO Kuwait-destined G5s are on the line..... and just ONE VIN # apart!!!
