Some assembly pics from CAAP last week

I had the chance to head up to Auburn Hills to meet with Mr. Winkles on some new projects that we are working on and scheduled a meeting or two at CAAP while I was there.

Always great to see and talk to the people that build these cars, and even better to do it with Dick Winkles by your side, he was obviously someone that everyone liked during his time with Chrysler. Got to spend some time in the design studio with Mark Trostle and the folks over at M1 Concourse on Woodward. That's an awesome facility and the track is a great addition to the area for some quick test laps.

Sorry for so few pics from CAAP but with customer cars being built it was best to just get a few at the go kart stage.

We spent quite a bit of time talking about the 92's and then got hung up on something looking at that car at the plant. Love those old Vipers.

Threads like this remind me how sad it is the Viper is going away. The car market just won't seem right without it.
