Searched but didn't find any info. Anyone know a part number for the rub strip by itself? Wouldn't matter regular ACR or ACR-E it's the removable polymer strip replaced by the track extension.

This site has a catalog. Not easy to navigate. This might be what you are looking for.

Hmmmm....or is it this part? http://www.mopar.com/part/68322466AA?s=379229&i=10008630
More like it for a little piece of plastic. Terrible website to navigate and find specifics.

It's number 34 on that exploded diagram. Don't get the bigger one without the supports and a willingness to scrape a bit more due to greater overhang

Good question. Horrible navigation for sure. Why are both "item 42"? With two different part numbers. Strange. I don't know.

I want to say it may be 68050016AB for regular and 68050015AB for extended.

I believe those parts are for a gen 4.
This site says application is 2008-2010.

68322468aa :rub strip: Front 1/ep 844.00 844.00 844.00

Unfortunately I had to price this strip because a wonderful creature of the planet decided to steal my ACR front splitter bag with the stock (smaller) rub strip inside it.

That is a retarded price for a plastic rub strip...

Is anyone making an aftermarket version yet?

I am currently working on the diffuser strakes and splitter extension for the extreme. I don't have access to the rub strip but when I can get one I'll manufacture it.

Chris are you sure that's not the bigger track extension (like on a non extreme ACR) versus just the little 2" rub strip?
I know Mopar prices are ridiculous but that's another level of insane.

If you look at the descriptions under 42 you will see that there are 3 parts, the center and one for each side with the plastic extension so those are the standard ACR splitter strips, yes TOTALY ridiculous prices....

Mark priced it for me, I would assume this is very accurate as Mark is rarely wrong. Lol

And yes I specifically asked for the smaller stock rub strip.

I have been looking at having a local friend Scan in and make the larger extension locally. I have to think that it can be pretty easily fabricated, because it is flat with just a bunch of holes in it and blind nuts. But if someone else has already done the work, I would be curious. Also, I have been wanting to try an extension with an extra 2 inches to try to get rid of some of the push. That kind of part would probably really be track-only so there might not be very many people willing to try it. Also, shipping has to be costly given the bulkiness of the item .

Anyway, what have you done already and what are your prices? Thanks.

I have laser scanned the parts, drawings are being generated. First things first, OEM reproductions. I have considered different shapes for balance change, etc. and would be willing to have you or other volunteers try one.

Pricing is TBD, I will have it soon, but for sure shipping will be costly, probably $75 or so UPS GND for the splitter or splitter and strakes, less for the diffuser strakes only. I would think it would still be cheaper than scanning and making a low quantity yourself. I will start a thread when I have pricing or check my facebook page for updates.

Thanks; I tend to agree that the OEM duplicates make sense first and no point both of us re-inventing the wheel. I look forward to hearing about pricing and thanks again for the effort.

Thank you! Please let me know when they are available. Dodge's prices are insulting. If I wanted to pay $844 for a flat piece of recycled plastic, I'd buy a McLaren!

Isnt #42 the entire front splitter? everything before the ACR/ACRE extensions?

McLaren is cheaper, about $650
