Oil Change Question

I am looking to do my first oil change on my Gen 3 Viper and I am looking for suggestions on the brand and viscosity of oil that people use here in Phoenix. I see a lot of different opinions on it when search nationally, but I want to know what people run here in Phoenix with the higher temperatures. I want to get give her some new blood before the Devil's Run next month. Thanks in advance for any and all feedback.

Mobile-1 0W-40 European formula. Remarkable oil. Keeps the lifters way more quiet than others I have tried. I think it was recommended by forum members...that is how I came onto it.

yes use mobil 1 0-40 also use the srt viper filer part #05037836AA

Thank you both for your input, I really appreciate it. So, same question for the transmission oil? I figure while I am under there, may as well replace the transmission fluid so I know it's new. Again, there seems to be a number of answers on the web as to the right fluid, but wondered what everyone is running here? Thanks again for the assistance.
