Too much doon and gloom these days... Let's get some talk about the Viper wins over the years. What in your opinion is the biggest win for the car?

My vote is 2000 24 Hours at Daytona. An overall victory despite the faster cars dropping is still an amazing feat considering they had to defend against that corvette towards the end.

Chime in!

Le mans 24hrs 1998 Justin Bell and David Donohue Great Race

We had a British Driver in an American car and this was the first GT class win for an American made car since the Shelby Daytona Coupe won in 1964. :United_States::United_Kingdom::bth_smiley_formula 1

The wins at Daytona and Le Mans are hard to beat! But the team has scored some big wins recently as well. A dominant 1-2 in GTLM and win in GTD at COTA in 2014, Daytona in 2015, and a very cool win in Detroit this year. It's been a great ride that's for sure!

That COTA race in 2014 was fantastic! Hard to believe how it changed just a few months later. It's definitely hard to top the first Le Mans and the overall at Daytona but what about Le Mans in 99 when they took the top 6 spots I believe. Also, which season in ALMS did they go 12-0 over Corvette?

There were also some great runs at Spa and the Nurburgring in the early 2000s when the platform was ancient in terms or race car lifespan.

Have to agree the Overall Win ( not just Class ) at the 24 Hours of Daytona in 2000 would be my choice also!!

There are definitely some highlights recent as well, it's just too bad the latest GTS-R was cut down after a series championship. My second would be the 1998 Le Mans win, but the wins in 99 and 2000 at Le Mans are also amazing wins.
