Hello All,
First I want to introduce myself. My name is Jason Allen and I’m a VOA Sponsor, Viper Owner, and Illinois VOA Member. I’m also a co-owner of Go Get Lost…Worldwide Adventures, a tour operator based in the USA that leads tours to a number of countries including, Ireland, Italy, Greece, and more. We lead a variety of tour types throughout the world, including walking tours, Greek sailing, African safari’s and more.
When I became a co-owner of Go Get Lost in 2013, I began thinking about adding a new tour that was tied closely to my interest in automobiles. In 2014, Alex Ristanovic (then President of the Illinois VOA) and I began discussing the idea of taking a group of Illinois members on a club tour in Europe. Shortly after, the tour that we now call Tuscany and the Motor Valley was formed and in June 2015 we took the Illinois VOA to Italy!
The first part of the tour focuses on the Motor Valley as we visit the Lamborghini Factory and Museum, two Ferrari Museums, and the Pagani Factory and Museum. We also have a track day event where travelers have the option of driving a Ferrari on an Italian Race circuit. We then head to classic Tuscany where we explore the vineyards, countryside, and towns of classic Italy. We eat incredible food, drink some amazing wines, and enjoy luxury automobiles! Oh, did I mention we do it all with like-minded friends! I think everyone who has gone on the tour will agree, it's an incredible experience!
Wayne and D’Ann Rauh were one of those able to join us on the Illinois VOA Tour and enjoyed it so much that they decided they would like to go again with others from Texas. This year we finalized their 2017 tour and in early July of this year, we opened their private tour for bookings and sold out the tour by 11am the next day!
There have been others within the Viper community that have shown interest in going as well, so we’ve put together a special tour to take another group of Viper owners to Tuscany and the Motor Valley! This 8-day tour is scheduled for July 16th – 23rd, 2017. This tour is open only to VOA Members and their guests. The price of this 8-day tour is $4,195. There are also additional add-on options, including taking laps in a Ferrari and a 3-night Rome Extension.
Because of the limited number of spots available, we will do a scheduled launch of this tour. This allows individuals that are interested to confirm their schedules, coordinate with friends, etc., in preparation to book a spot.
We’ve setup a page that will allow you to indicate your interest in this tour. You can visit http://www.gogetlost.com/voa-motor-valley-launch and submit your email. Those on the list will be notified when the launch date is set (likely late August).
You can also find the detailed itinerary at http://www.gogetlost.com/voa-tuscany-motor-valley. This will explain in detail our day-by-day itinerary as well as what’s included and what’s not included.
I’ve also attached a few images to this post! Don't hesitate to ask questions in this post, or email me directly at jason@gogetlost.com
Hopefully we’ll see you in Italy next year!
