2013 and only showing r29 issued? also dealer didn't put 30 day tags on it, also checking oil right when it was backed off the trailer showed right at the lowest hash mark........ and i will leave it at that for my viper introduction because it seems that everyone that declares their love for their gen v the engine blows, knock on wood*

Mine is a 2013 and it also only had the R29 recall which is just the valve cover for oil consumption. So looks like they (FCA) feel 2013's are in the clear....or at least a certain build date is. But I know some 2013's do fall under the R28/R29 recall.

Who knows if you're in the clear or not. So much he said/she said stuff out there about this issue.

Just drive and enjoy it but keep a constant eye on that oil level.

Most 2013s had both (mine did) but some only had one. They should have changed the oil as a courtesy before delivery, AND should have completed the recall. Why didn't you insist?

The recall R29 even though it is just the driver side valve cover states to change the oil. So if R29 was done it SHOULD of had the oil changed at the same time.

Only got R29 done on my 2013 GTS, oil was changed too.

Since VE is 10 miles from me i saw it as an opportunity to get a jump on getting acquainted with the staff
