Myrtle Beach & Wilmington Picture Thread

To All,

I think we all had a great time this weekend and and I would like to thank Carla and Bob for opening their house to us and our Vipers (the neighbors must have loved to see over 20 Vipers cruise through the neighborhood). Bob, that was some of the best BBQ pork that I have eaten and I love BBQ pork. Lance, Jay, and Tom, thanks for assisting in rounding people for the event and for escorting us through the traffic. For those that drove all the way from Raleigh and other parts just to join the rest of us for lunch, thanks for you participation...the food was well worth the two plus hour trip...job well done Bob & Carla.

Thanks to Mike for the excellent hotel accommodations and those who choose the restaurants in Myrtle Beach. The River Cafe was a hit, not because the club picked up the bill, but the food/price/parking was excellent. Special thanks to our soon to be newest member Jim & Betty for escorting us through the “Old Air Force” base up through the Grand Strand/Strip back to the motel. We turned a lot of heads driving up Ocean Blvd. Here are some pic I took, those that also took pictures please add them as soon as you can.
Again, thanks to all that organized, but mostly for those that attended, without your attendance, there would not be an event.

Best 1000 miles I put on my Viper in a weekend. Donna was sorry that she couldn't attend but I told her that when she is not in attendance, I am not left alone....Wendy rode with me during the ToD, Trish on the trip back from Wilmington, and the talkative Janna to dinner on Saturday night's dinner. Hey, guys. Thanks to all of you for making a great weekend again! George, sorry about the high-beams on the way back from dinner Saturday. That's not the first time I blinded one of our members. Should have learned already what that blue light on the instrument panel means... The only time I pay attention to those lights is if they're in the rear view mirror!

Many of us drove our Vipers up to a thousand miles this weekend to meet and party and to enjoy each other's company, AND to meet and greet our new members. Myrtle is a great venue and the Grande Shores hotel has been so accommodating to us and our Vipers for the past few years.

It it was also great to see all of the local members from the Wilmington area at the BBQ lunch at Bob and Carla's - And thanks to Fred and Sandy, and David and Steph, for the restaurant recommendations and attending those events in Myrtle Beach.

Hope to see all of you in Charleston in October.
