Just introducing myself to you blokes. I'm a big fan of Viper and not an owner, but as a so-called journalist, have the good fortune of driving them, though not as frequently as I'd like. Nonetheless, I've already driven the TA and have published a couple of first drive stories, and I'm happy to post some links if anyone is interested. I think the TA is a great piece of work and there really isn't much I'd change about the spec.

We had some fun at the TA event and put together a short video on this beaten-do-death topic to hopefully put some rest to it.

Great post----------have been working to dispel this rumor for years and folks just don't want to believe it. Ralph pulverized this into the ground with this simple explanation and hopefully
this old story will now stay buried where it belongs!

Thanks Brian and I bet alot more folks will be viewing your writings/blogs/videos in the very near future!!??

Thanks, Bill! You're spot on - even the big mags have given the rumour new legs in the last year.

Ironic.

They did use the gen III Viper motor in the SRT-10 trucks.

......so, it's not a truck motor, but it was used in some of the trucks.
what.

Thanks, guys!

No, I haven't talked to Ralph about the GTS-R. I did interview Ralph and Kuno for a pre-Le Mans story last year.
