Anyone know a good source for the o2 extensions? I am installing a used Belanger setup and these are needed and didn't seem to come in the box. Belanger wants $180 but I could sweat I seen a thread somewhere listing Jegs or Summit having them. I've had no luck finding them though.

Thanks!

Casper's Electronics sells a 24" O2 Sensor Extension harness. It's "almost" plug and play but doesn't require splicing of wires. This is the extension (about $27 from Jeg's), Casper's Part Number 109034. I used these on my GenII. I *believe* they work on GenIII's but best to check with Caspers.

A slight modification is required in order for this extension to mate with your O2 engine wire harness, namely the adapter. Below, is a shot of the drivers' side O2 harness plug that connects to the O2 front sensor. This plug has a stub on it that will prevent it from mating with the extension harness. The stub needs to be shaved down or removed.

Tony,

Thanks for the awesome reply! I am going to go with these! I will make sure on that Gen 4 fitment and get them on their way! This beats the hell out of spending $180. I also have the mopar ECU and I'm pretty sure they shut off anyways but would like it to be right just in case I do remove that ECU.

Another option would be to send your O2's to Tator and have him splice in an extension. I believe he does it on the O2 sensors side of the harness, best to check with him. He may actually have O2's spliced and extended in stock.

Gen3's will just go dormant in fresh air. On mine we just tied them to the frame somewhere when I did my cat delete. Works fine so far, not sure about Gen4's though?

Thanks for the help guys. After realizing my rear 02's were shut off due to performance ecu I made the decision to wrap and tie them up in the tranny tunnel as I don't need them anyways. Other things I was suggested to do:

Wrap header 02's in heat tape which I did. Also make sure wires were far from header
Plug rear exhaust 02. I did this using a 18mm 1.5 oil drain plug and put some red exhaust silicon on.

Waiting on valve covers to be painted and then I will fire her up!

Thanks again for the help.
