When installing the ACR brake ducts, it calls for you to run the braided brake line through the supplied white fastener and attach it to the slot in the brake duct. When installing my ducts, there wasn't enough slack in the line to get the white fastener popped into the hole and I accidently broke the existing black fastener that attaches the line to the frame to keep it off the control arm. I've called two local Dodge dealers and went to another (even visited a Porsche dealer) to find a replacement to no avail. I've also been to Lowes, Advanced Auto Parts, Sears and Autozone - nothing!!! Anyone have a name for this little fastener, or better yet, a part number? It appears to pop into the frame and attaches to the brake line with a zip-tie type mechanism.
I didn't want to break the other side, so I just didn't even install the white fastener on that side. The way the existing fastener keeps the line up and out of the way, I really don't even see the point of the white one.

Also, WTF on the fitment of the innermost diffuser strake extensions? The reason I was at Lowe's was to buy some thick washers so there isn't an inch or 2 of play in the strake extensions.

I installed my strakes backward at first with the threaded fitting through the hole in the strake and then the bolt. Had all kinds of play and nothing wanted to line up. I then installed the strake on the flush side of the mount with the bolt opposite the threaded insert and all the play was gone and the holes lined up.

Anyone have a name for this little fastener
"Push Mount Cable Tie"
You will have to figure out what size hole your's mounts in and then search for a compatible size. Here is an example; but, not necessarily the size you need.

Ebay might be a cheaper source for a small quantity. Same seller is there also. http://www.ebay.com/bhp/push-mount-cable-ties

Did the same thing... Apparently I missed the part in the instructions where it says "Attach diffuser strake extensions to INBOARD side of diffusers..." Switch them around and problem solved.

Wow. I missed that one too. I read on another thread someone mentioning they needed some washers, so I just assumed it was par for the course. Feeling pretty stupid. Thanks
And thanks AZTVR for the fastener links.

Instructions? We don't need no stinking instructions! So I had to do it twice...... I am part of the feeling stupid club too!

Just got the strakes swapped. Took about 1/4 the time because they actual lined up.
I do have to admit to more amateur day in the ACR garage. The braided "brake" line mentioned above, is not the brake line, rather the hydraulic line for the dampers. I put my dealer on the fastener case this morning - he finally called this afternoon to question if it was the brake line or the shock line. Sure enough, says it right there in those instructions I didn't read.

I made the same mistake when I install the first piece, then I talked to myself --> this cannot be right... figured it out after 2 mins and felt like an idiot ;)
