Viper TA paint correction before and after.

I took the car to a local place while I was was on vacation and they went above and beyond what I was expecting.
They documented the process on a local car board. Instead of cutting and pasting there miles of information and pictures, I thought I would post the link here.
Rain hit pretty hard as I was getting to the shop so the before pics are "dirty". It's a good read and they link to their YouTube vids for DIY too

If you don't mind my asking, What did they hit you up for on the paint correction (with & without the sealant)?

For correction and the film application and whatever else sealant and so on was 3700 CDN (2800 USD)

30 hrs of work? They say this wasn't the worst G5 Viper they have had to correct. I guess the kid at the Prefix running the buffer has good days and bad days.

It's when a car is detailed in a multi step process that eliminates any paint damage, such as light scratches, swirl marks, etc. It's usually done by washing, clay bar (to remove any contaminants in the paint), a 1 or 2 step polishing (aggressive and/or light cut polish) to remove the damage in the paint, then a sealant is applied. Sometimes wax on top of the sealant is eventually applied for an added protective layer.

It's a lengthy process, thus the high cost.

Check out my buddy Andrew at www.iamautos.ca did a 22 hr paint correction with xpel ultimate for about 1/2 that(and my paint had some pretty bad webbing/swirling). 30 hrs is pretty overkill.

Thanks for the link. Auto Obsessed is a pretty reputable shop, plus he gives you a thumb drive with pictures documenting the entire process.

I'm not a huge fan of wraps or films so I only did the front bumper, headlights and complete rockers / sills.
