Below is an itinerary for our Myrtle Beach/Wilmington "Tale of Two Cities". If you have not already done so, please let me know how many in your party will be attending the two dinners and lunch at Bob and Carla's so we can finalize the reservation arrangements. Friday night after checking into the hotel we will have a casual dinner at the "River City Cafe" restaurant, located at 5835 Dick Pond Rd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29588. The distance from hotel to the restaurant is only 13 miles, but anticipate a 20-25 minutes drive due to traffic. The restaurant's food/dress is casual (see below for menu & address links). It was one of the few "casual" places which would take group reservations and have available parking for the Vipers.
Saturday morning we will leave from the hotel and caravan up to Bob and Carla's residence in Wilmington, where they have graciously agreed to cook BBQ pork for us. After lunch and a little socializing, we will trek back down to Myrtle Beach, arriving at the hotel between 3 - 3:30 pm. Enjoy a couple hours down time to do whatever you want, prior to leaving the hotel for dinner reservations at "The Grill House". The restaurant receives fresh seafood daily (Flounder, Mahi Mahi, Salmon, Oysters, Shrimp, Lobsters, and Scallops), and for you land lovers, theres always the stand-by steak and chicken entrees.
Saturday night's dinner is at "The Grill House" (5:45 pm) early enough for those that would like to save some "clams" by using the "Early Bird" menu, but still allows members to choose from the full menu if they wish to. Distance from hotel is 13.4 miles. We need to leave the hotel at 5:30 pm, and after dinner, you would still have a couple hours to do as you wish...party in Mike's room.
Friday August 12th: Check-in at hotel...on your own time.
Dinner - Casual at the River City Cafe at 6:30 pm. Depart the hotel at 6:00 pm.

Drive/Lunch @ Bob and Carla's: Depart hotel at 10:15 am for Bob and Carla's residence. Arrive at 11:45 - 12:00.
Depart Bob's between 2 - 2:30 and arrive back at hotel between 3 - 3:30 pm

Saturday Night Dinner: Depart hotel 5:30 (sharply) to arrive at "The Grill House" for dinner reservations @ 5:45 pm. After dinner you are on your own to enjoy the beach, the "Strand" or what ever.
