Hot off the Press:

"Did you know that the Le Mans-winning GTLM car is racing at Lime Rock Saturday, July 23 in the IMSA WeatherTech Northeast Grand Prix?

And that the cars that finished third and seventh and 11th are also here?

That's right, folks. The top echelon of international sports car racing – the cars and the drivers – represented by the GT Le Mans (GTLM) class in the IMSA WeatherTech championship, makes its much-anticipated stop at Lime Rock Park.
Lime Rock's Northeast Grand Prix on July 23 is going to be like a mini-mini Le Mans race.
Last month's Le Mans was the pitched battleground of a near re-enactment of the famous 1966 race, when Ford finally beat Ferrari.
On the 50th anniversary of that historic win, Ford did it again: Joey Hand and Dirk Muller in the new Ford GT beat ex-F1's Giancarlo Fisichella and Toni Vilander, who were racing the new Ferrari 488.
Those four drivers will be going at it again – hard – at Lime Rock July 23. Not to mention the drivers of the Corvette Racing C7.Rs, Porsche 911 RSRs and BMW M6 GTLMs!,Viper

And Connecticut's own Ryan Briscoe – when the Australian married ESPN reporter Nicole Briscoe, they moved to Farmington – is the Ford driver on the hottest streak. He and co-driver Richard Westbrook have won three IMSA GTLM races in a row: Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, Watkins Glen and Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.
The July 23 Lime Rock IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Northeast Grand Prix will truly be an unprecedented grid of world-class cars, teams and drivers.

Absolutely great time yesterday!! Was awesome to get to see the Riley team up close and personal.

Congrats on #33 taking the podium. They had to start in 12th but were able to move their way all to the way up to the front.

Wow, Great Job Ben, Jerone, and Team! Sorry I had to bail early; that must have been exciting to see them moving up through the pack.

And all the credit for this one belongs to ACR Steve and our friends at Lime Rock Park and Viper Exchange! It's great to have a strong partnership with your local track, and even more amazing when it's historic and beautiful and gets top-notch racing series.

Thanks everyone who came out!! Lime Rock loves to see our presence, and believe me they are impressed with the turnouts we get knowing how few Vipers are out there to begin with. Great job, and glad everyone had fun!

Incredible job by Ben and his team. Wow! They started in 13th place with a ridiculous restriction on the intake....I think it 39 or 38 millimeters. Imagine our engines breathing through a straw, almost half of the intake opening of the stock throttle body opening. Even with the silly restriction Ben and his team killed it. Great strategy, great effort....the passion for Viper racing is very clear with this team. Thanks to Ben and his team for hosting us yesterday and putting on a spectacular 3rd place finish. Oh, and besides the race, I now like Weather Tech very much :D

Great time everyone .

Cant get better then hanging out with great friends ,great venue and a great race for a very handicapped viper . Ben wasn't a happy camper before the race (justifiably) but I really think it helped his spirit to know we were all they for him. They certainly got a 110% out of a very handicapped car.

Oh and it was a tie between Weather Tech and Continental :)
