Finally completed the build out on my ACR E with the installation of the Belanger headers hi flow cat's and mufflers. I did a few extra thing this time I wrapped the mufflers with heat wrap and picked up some heat tubing for the o2 sensors. The sound is very deep and rather quit at low rpm's. I changed the oil to 15-50 Mobile one so hi rev's with cold oil not smart. Hoping to get a little street time in the morning.

Finished off the build out by installing the carpet in the trunk area and the hood liner.

Nice should sound great. You do mean ACR-E not ACR-X? Isn't ACR-X a Gen-4 car?

Great work. What product did you use for the O2 sensors?

Picked up a small roll of spark plug wire insulation. Removed the plug end on the o2 sensor slipped it on and then reinstalled the plug end. Why you don't get this in the kit is a mystery. Summit racing has miles of it. Cheap insurance on super hot track days or long road trips

Great. Thanks. I spoke with DEI and the y recommended the exact same thing, their spark plug wire insulation.

Belanger sounds great on a Gen V with a arrow controller.

Just finished a 30 mile loop with the new set up. Absolutely love it!!!! Very low deep tone under 4000 and at 5,000 + rpm's really opens up to a roar. Of all 3 set ups I have run this has got to be my favorite. The arrow tune sounds very deep on decel got to love that popping sound. Cabin noise very close to a stock set up. With the Belanger hi-flow cats installed the heat in the cabin seemed normal. The best thing I did was to wrap the mufflers. You can put your hand any where on the door seal and it is not really that hot on the ACR your hand goes right to the paint. Now I just have to get rid of the new exhaust burning smell and it's ready for Track Night July 14th.

What about the power?? :) did you do the Arrow and exhaust at the same time? How does the seat of the pants feel?

Yes I did the DS heat shield around the air box dropped in a K/N filter. Installed the Arrow tune with the exhaust. Seat of the pants feel.... Pretty freaking good. I did one hard pull from 25-90 mph and my ass never left the back of the seat . I will know more when I get to the track in a few weeks. Response quicker over stock for sure.
