The first session on the third and final day of Viper Rendezvous 2016. Unfortunately, my tires corded during this session so it was the last of the event for me. Here are three 1:35x with my best being 1:35.30. Please try to ignore the bug that splatters on the camera lens half way through.

While I was there, I heard of a Gen V that was towed from the track at some point because it broke down. Any idea which car, or what happened?

Great runs Rick and especially since your tires really were toast when you ran those times. You got faster the entire weekend and I have no doubt you will be in the 33s or 34s next year!

I use 3 GoPro cameras and a couple of programs to combine everything. Here is a tutorial i put together on how to do it. http://driveviper.com/forums/threads/10525-HPDE-Video-Creation-Tutorial-(Dashware-Wondershare)

Thanks for the encouragement everyone, I get hooked deeper each time I track this car! It still amazes me how capable the Viper is even in it's most "cush" GTS trim.

Surprising. I was next to them and mentioned the other Gen V that lost a fuel pump a week or two ago.

Definitely saw where I was leaving time on the table. Can't wait for next year!

Not to change the subject of this thread, but what are your highest coolant temps you are seeing on the track?

Can't wait for next time! I'll let you know once I figure out if I'm able to run COTA again in September.

I think in the 230s but I run her pretty hard.

I use Dashware to combine the data from the Solo DL and the GoPro video. There's a link to a tutorial I made in post #11 above.

Thanks! The template is on my tutorial site; feel free to use or modify as you see like.

I didn't even push hard on the car, highest I saw was just over 200. But I talked to one gent who saw 275, he was rocking the whole track in 2nd gear. I imagine it cooled down a fair bit once he used 3rd.

I sat in the passenger seat with Rick for one run and his temps were in the 230s, pretty normal for fast laps and a temperature in the 90s. Heck, in the old days, it was common to see Gen IIs in the 240 or 250 range in even cooler weather.
