This is Darius's bad ass ACR. Definitely one of my favorite color combos. It looks almost black in low lighting. The stripes look awesome on an ACR.

Thanks. I just re-striped mine with white stripes to replace the carbon stripes. One reason is because I liked Darius's stripes so much. Vinyl is easy and relatively inexpensive to change. Although at this point I would prefer painted stripes. I may do that down the road.

Mine next to my buddies mclaren.

This color must be seen in person. The color changes, depending on how the light hits it .As the sun goes down , people think it is black.

Mine is 2014 gts bought new in December 2015.

One of our AZ members has a GTS in the color scheme you are asking about. It really is something in person. Almost, almost as good as red.

Good question! Funny thing is that the white stripes are maybe too bright, whereas the satin black carbon stripes are too muted for me- they didn't quite have enough contrast. I'm getting samples of a couple of pearl whites (one gloss with gold pearl, one satin) to see how they look. Vinyl's cheap enough, may as well have some fun with it.

I'm going to have the wing painted Stryker Orange if I keep the white stripes, that I think helps tie the colors together.

The lens and light exposure can fool you- this is how the car looked in most lighting with the black stripes. It doesn't pop...

Dang Todd, I think both stripes look great. The white may pop a bit more, but the carbon look is sinister! Sorry you have to make such tough choices, ha.

Those are some great shots and your right the red/white behind you does look good. If it was a solid red, not so much. The strips def add to it.
