What can I say? The minute I laid eyes on the Orange TA, I knew it was the one for me. Many of you know I have been looking for a LONG time for the right car (and some of you have pointed that out with your smart ass remarks) but I am happy to say I picked up Orange TA #55 yesterday. Thank you to forum member Rexius for letting me know he say this posted on the VOA FB page!

The car is extremely clean and it had about 6,000 miles. I drove her back from Denver to Orange County - did about 1,000 miles in 13 hours. I am so happy I didn't ship the car because it was an absolute blast to drive and get a great feel for the car. There were so many canyons I went through and the car has exceeded my expectations in a big way. It is rock solid and actually a lot more comfortable then I was thinking. I checked oil levels every 200-300 miles on the drive and all was fine. Didn't need to add a drop - this TA only had the r29 recall and a big reason it took me a long time is because I was trying to avoid ones with the r28 and of course within my budget :p

I also want to thank all the forum members here that have helped me through my journey in finding the right Gen V for me. There were many of you that I personally reached out to seeking advice and you all are awesome! Enjoy the pics!

Congrats again, happy for you! I love that 2nd pic: the horizon shot. Such a beautiful car. Our PA Chapter president Bryan has one, and they sure are stunning in person. Can you get away without a front plate on the car in CA? One thing I like about PA, we're one of the few states that don't have front plates.

6000 in two years is perfect Enough that it means it was regularly driven, which is what cars need!

One of my best friends, John Prosk aka SRT John, is a Master SRT and Viper technician and Scott Robinson CDJR in Torrance. It's a long trek for me coming from the San Fernando Valley but worth it. He has taken care of my 2008 Charger for years and he is the only person I trust with my cars. His attention to detail and professionalism is insane. I had a laundry list of issues with my 2013 GTS which included a failed rear diff and he got me running like new in no time.

I would call and make an appointment and specifically ask for him (although he's the only Viper tech at the dealer anyway). Tell them Brian sent you!

Cool will do!! Torrance is less than an hour for me so that works out great. I was curious if people have gone to any others in OC area? Nice to have options.

Here is the list of Viper friendly dealerships that have been added by fellow members and their experiences.

I think Torrance is your best bet based on location and experience. I think John is one of the best in the business!

I have put about 1300 miles on the car now and I am absolutely in love with this thing. Hands down the most engaging driving experience I have ever had. The TA just feels so special and the attention the Orange brings is incredible. I live in Orange County so there is no shortage of amazing cars around here. I took it down PCH through Laguna and Newport Beach this past weekend and people just GAWK at it.

I thought I had some issues with the brakes feeling a bit funny but it was due to them just being cold. When the car is warmed up, they feel fantastic. I believe the pad is very hard so when cold you might here it have more friction during slow stops which is what I was experiencing a bit. I have taken it in a few canyons and still can't believe how much mechanical grip this thing has - I can't even begin to imagine what you ACR guys feel!

If anyone has any specific questions, especially if your looking to buy a G5 soon, please feel free to ask! I found it extremely helpful reading other peoples experiences and would love to pay it forward. Cheers!

zee, your car looks amazing. I'm glad you found what you wanted and are enjoying it.

I also recently bought a Gen 5, but it's just a regular SRT, but it's still an amazing car. So in your TA I know you're having even more fun :-P
