It's relisted already at a higher price so they were not letting it go that low.

It's eBay. There are no rules.

Sure there are. If you win a car on ebay, it's a legally binding contract. I used to be a dealer and sold 50 cars+ a month on ebay.
I'm guessing the high bidder had remorse, or the seller told the buyer he made a mistake and the buyer was kind enough to call the deal off.

I think he canceled the auction before it ended. So its a legal contract one way but not the other? I just had a guy win a action for a Ferrari I am selling and he would not follow through with anything and would not communicate at all. Complete looser that waste my time and everyone else. Nothing happens to them.
On another note I took my Comp Coupe out for the first time the other day. A truly amazing car...

It was just a figure of speech, a sarcastic comment on my part, not meant to be a comment on the legal contract. A observation on how some people treat eBay auctions, after seeing many scams, and also many relisted cars after someone did not complete the transaction.

The owner of the car was probably shill bidding, in an attempt to get the price up. Thats why he turned around and relisted it that fast... :p0257:
