**May 28, 2016** Crawfish Boil !!

Crawfish season is almost over so check your calendar and make sure you can join us at Troy and Cindy Harless' beach house on Crystal Beach on May 29th! We have to take the "back route" due to heavy traffic using the ferries darn it but we'll still have tons of fun! We'll figure out the timeline and a couple gathering places for so we can arrive together and let ya'll know.

Troy also suggested you bring something you're proud of to share with the club - this group never turns down food!

Troy says if you can get to the ferry early enough there shouldn’t be much of a wait. You can call 409-795-2230 to check on the wait before you make your final decision regarding your route. He says it’s best to be at the ferry before 9 a.m.

If you want to drive with us, we’ll meet in the HEB shopping center on the northwest corner of Bunker Hill and I-10 at 6:45 a.m. and depart at 7:00 a.m. It is about 65 miles and it should take about an 75-90 minutes to get there – just depends on traffic.

Troy and Cindy’s beach house address is 3016 Shady Lane, Port Bolivar, TX 77650.

Be sure to bring your swimsuits, folding chairs, sunscreen and your best appetizer, side or dessert to share with your friends. They have a shower you can use to clean up after hanging out at the beach and/or eating mudbugs!

Troy says they’ll start serving around 2 p.m. until about 5 p.m. in case ya’ll want to head out a little later and skip the ferry.
