View Full Version : What are you using for a sun shade?

Did a quick search on the web and in the Gen V section and didn't find a sun shade for the car. What are you guys using? I see the Viper Store has Gens 2-4, will these fit? It's getting close to the warm season in Yuma and I'd like to protect the interior and my skin. There's nothing like getting in a car that's been sitting out in the sun when its 120 out.

I got the windows and windshield tinted. Looks awesome and keeps cool. No issues at night as the windshield is 35%.

The rear and side windows are already tinted. I don't think local LE and MPs would like the front tinted, although I have given it a thought.

Depends where you live. In Texas it's legal to have 35% (might even be 30%).

I have the front windshield tinted on 2 of my other vehicles at 50% makes a colossal difference in the Florida sun.

I haven't yet decided if I am going to tint the Viper yet. The windows are already so tiny.

Being in the Military I never know where I'll end up next so I'm going to stick with a shade type item. I think I'm just going to order a gen IV... Anything would be better than what it is currently.
