I have an extra fused wire coming off my battery...

...is this normal? Probably a 16-ga wire with an integrated fuseholder. I don't have any aftermarket electronics in the car, but who knows? I have never seen a wire coming off the battery like that from the factory before.

I am not the first owner. Time to investigate further. Step one: disconnect and see what happens. Tender harness makes sense, my other one looks a lot like that.

Jack is right, it's factory. It's the power feed for the radio system. It gets a private feed...
