I know it's been talked about here from time to time. But I wanted to see what was the latest and greatest at this time for oil catch cans for the Gen V Vipers. If you could provided the product name brand you purchased and a pic or two on where you installed it, that would be great! Is there a need to install two catch cans or should one be sufficient. I'm looking to add one to my Viper very soon.

Thanks

There is a monster catch can thread with all the answers. Use the search function as it's also brought up in regards to the oil control recalls.

The most talked about here are the Doug Shelby Engineering catch cans. I've read that that 2016 engines and 2014/2015 engines that have had the R29 work done don't need a drivers side catch can. Only the passenger side.

Disclaimer: I only know what I read. I have little to no mechanical knowledge...so I would trust more what the other users on this forum say. They're FAR more knowledgeable than I'll ever be.

This is the thread donk_316 was referring to I believe:

Here are my offerings and some description of what each option offers for the end user. Depending on how you plan to use the car one may be sufficient, but you may benefit from 2 as well:

DSE has the best ones, I have sold a bunch of them and he has multiple offerings depending on your intended use.
