I called Mac's custom tie downs and had them make me a rear tow strap. I looped it around the rear frame crossmember thats located just behind the diff. I have it zip tied to the rear fascia so it doesn't hang out or flop around. If I need to utilize it I have to cut the zip tie and pull it out. The PCA guys were giving me a bunch of crap when I showed up for track days without a rear strap so now they can shut the hell up!

Nice, I was just looking into the same idea.
How much was it?

Less than thirty dollars. The strap they made me is twice the size/strength i needed. I believe it has a 10k strength rating.
You forgot to add the tow strap patch:

I have something similar on one of my cars and use 3M industrial velco to hold the strap in place but is easily accessed over and over again without having to cut a zip tie. About a 1.5" square stuck to the rear plastic on the other square sticks to the actual webbing material. Two track days so far and it hasn't moved.

That looks great! Hard to tell from the pictures- if you do a straight pull, does it clear the diffuser and bumper cover? No risk of damaging the Viper?

It clears the diffuser and bumper, shouldn't be a problem to tow it out of the kitty litter.

As I said I shortened mine up to 48 inches but the standard length will work. If I were to do it again I'd make the length at least 50 inches. Mac's will custom build you whatever you want, fantastic to work with.

Just wondering, why not use the steel tow rings

Steel tow rings won't work on the ACR Extreme, unless you want to cut holes in the carbon fiber diffuser.
