Some questions about my car...

Hello all, I am trying to figure out what should have come with my 2006 Viper when it was new. I am the 3rd owner of the car (just bought it last week). The car did not have the owners manual with it, so I am in the process of trying to hunt down a 2006 owners manual on Ebay or Amazon and so far no dice. Other than the manual, did anything else come with these cars? SRT certificate maybe or some other form of documentation? The car does have a black and red car cover in the trunk but I'm not sure if it came with the car or one of the previous owners bought it. I am also in the process of trying to have a reproduction window sticker made. Thanks for any information you may have!

Mine didn't have the manual either, I presume the guy kept it for a keepsake or something. You can order them from chrysler on their web site. I will update with a link, but I think you can also download one in PDF form. Mine had a bag with a car cover. I haven't taken it out of the bag (shame on me), but wouldn't surprise me if 1000 bees flew out of it or something. The bag had a viper logo, pretty pretty, and so on. Mine is an 04, but I wouldn't expect too much to be different.

Poke around, I think they still may have the pretty welcome packet available or the case or whatever the manual came in. I'm kind of rushed or else I would look everything else up.

When I purchased my '06 Viper Coupe new, it had an owners manual/book and two keys/fobs, but no car cover.

I was just a Black coupe, not any special edition or anything...

When I purchased my 2010 Viper coupe about 9 months ago, I was the 2nd owner but it had been through 3 or 4 dealers. Anyway, when I took possession of the car, there was only one key fob and no owner packet or car cover. So I went to mopar tech authority and purchased the original owners packet which included the owners manual on CD. but I wanted the actual owners manual in booklet form, so I bought that too. Also purchased the service manual on CD. I ended up buying a really nice car cover from California car cover'

Also bought a 2nd key and key FOB. Don't remember from where, but they're available from multiple places.

I've owned many mopar muscle cars in my time. (Hemi cudas, road runner hemis & 6-pacs, even a Superbird once. All back in the 70's) I'm a mopar guy from way back. Actually worked for Chrysler at one time as a district service manager.

Enjoy your '06. My viper is the most fun car I've ever had. Just be careful, cuz it'll bite you if you let it. lol!

ive just bought a comprehensive service manual for my 2005 SRT10. from viperstore.com
They also sell the booklets and model specific manuals and Viper original garage service books.
That online store is excellent for general spares, parts, accessories, polo shirts etc etc.... :-)
I brought a Viper car cover from there too. Excellent. Viper specific not just a general cover.
