I have a 1993. I am wondering if they were ever offered with a radio delete plate. I am looking to get rid of my radio head set and speakers. I guess I would also need a cover plate for the speakers. Anyone know a company that makes these. Also anyone have problems after removing their sound system?

Metra sells blank plastic covers that you can use to cover over the whole. The other option is to look up a pocket to at least have a place to hold papers and such.

Thanks. I just checked their site and didnt see anything specific for the viper. I emailed them so we will see if I was just not looking in the right area. Thanks again for the help.

Just heard back from Metra. You post makes more sense now when you said "blank". They only sell sections that i would need to cut to fit to size. I was hoping for something a little more finished. Thanks though for the reply. Anyone else have an idea?

Call over to H and R radio in Warminster PA. I used to work with them in the field. They may have something or be able to think of an idea.

Metra used to have a pocket they sold for a delete option. If you get the install kit you may be able to add the pocket to it so it will look more natural. You are nto going to find something that is a drop in. Unless you can find the part numbers and order direct from Chrysler.

Still haven't found anything. Looks like you have to make your own if you want to do this.
