Gents,
AR Headers without cats, Corsa catback, Arrow PCM and underdrive pulley is worth 600hp at the wheels / 690hp crank? Ballpark give or take 10hp?

Full stage 2 is worth 630hp at the wheels / 740hp at the crank?

Hope this helps:

Our combo is making 90-100hp more than stock and putting 648-650 to the wheels SAE on the Viper Exchange Owned test mule on Arrows chassis dyno.

Yes the cars are running and were calibrated with ARH headers.

Here's actual dyno sheets for the Stage II:

http://www.arrowracingengines.com/genvviperstageiikit.html

The Stage 1 PCM only package provides a 20-25 HP boost, bringing hp to ~670hp with a boost in torque over the whole power band. The heads and cam package provides 75-80 hp peak gains, with significant gains from 3000 rpm on up, and again, a significant boost to torque throughout that RPM band.

Thank you.
So Viper is about 12% loses then not 15%?

Stage 1 600hp wheels / 670hp crank.
Stage 2 650hp wheels / 740hp crank.

All of our ViperExchange Stage 2 builds have made 646-661rwhp on multiple dynos here in Houston, SAE. Our stage 1 Gen V builds dyno 590-598rwhp SAE on those same 2 dynos.

Bang on, Andy. Thanks for that.

Just confirming before I pass on incorrect information. Plus I figured it was time for a non fru-fru ACR thread :)

Wow. That's an excellent gain for such little mods!

Headers, exhaust, pulley and intake will usually get you between 590-605WHP from what we have seen here.

Antonio,
When you guys say "intake", are you talking flat panel filter replacement?

sounds right to me. when i did stage 1, i was at 599 whp with cats, stock mufflers and 91 octane.

Arrow PCM or HP Tuner? That's stronge for 91.

I would assume Arrow as that is what this whole thread is about.

PDV's viper had intakes/UD pulley/ catless Belanger exhaust and got 623 with hp tuners with torrie tune

I Made 582 HP with Arrow PCM, K&N Intake Kit (Not Just Flat Panel), Cat Delete, stock headers and mufflers, IAT @ 90 DEG F. I did the 3:73 Gears swap...I have been told it affects the Dyno. results down by a few %??

Decent numbers for stock manifolds, no cats and an arrow.

I'm on the fence with the K&N kit.

That's what I thought, just never seen a Arrow PCM make that much power with such little modifications and on 91(with cats, stock mufflers and 91 octane)

His car was the highest hp bolton car if I'm not mistaken.

Strong cars in here. My car only dyno'ed 575whp SAE with the Arrow ECU, ARH headers, and high flow cats. The Arrow ECU was good for 30whp, but the headers only gave me 10whp. Runs as hard as any other car at the track though and that's all that matters.

I am not sold on the K&N .... At idle the IATs go way up..... They do come down quicker though once you get moving.
Typically I am about 8degs lower while cruising and comparing to my friends car whille at the same speed.

My 6yr old son wanted to install a turbo with his dad..... The K&N Kit was the next best thing.

Not convinced it's worth the money......though others with more dyno time than me swear by them for 10+ HP.

I care more about trap speeds than dyno numbers, but even those can be hard to compare.

Depends on the Dyno I imagine.

Drivetrain losses should be pretty much standard across all G5 vipers without any changes in gearing.

While I agree with your estimates, here's a conversation I had from a Tech in NY:

Me: Any Mods? (referring to his green TA)
Mike LaRocca: American racing headers. Straight pipes new computer complete re-write and retune. Slicks
Mike LaRocca: Close to 800 crank. Just shy of 6 to the wheels
Me: I think you're a bit off on the calculation, stock is 640 to the crank, 540 wheel. Header, tune (sounds like what you have) makes about 600 whp, and about 700ish crank. 800 crank would be with some spray, FI, or heads/cam maybe. Either way it is prob very quick, i bet you'd run 10.6 -10.8 in the 1/4
Mike LaRocca: We've done 4 and stock the put 475-490
Mike LaRocca: Ps. Not a calculation. Have the wheel horsepower to the tee. And the cars srt app tells you the crank. There's no way you only loose 100 hp. From crank to wheel stock. It's an average of at least 25% I work at a dealership that offers this package. Ps we have an acr receiving a full viper exchange heads and cam+ suspension package as we speak. So we will see what that truly makes as well. As far a quarter mile. We at thinking almost exactly what you are. 2016 was also bumped to 645 not that it's a big deal.
Me: Mike LaRocca which dealer? I usually go to Carmel of meadowlands in Carmel ny. Everything I've seen and read points to 12-15% loss. I suppose that it doesn't really matter much as long as you dyno on the same machine before and after to receive the delta
Mike LaRocca: Security dodge in amityville. We are number 5 in the country and the number 1 hellcat dealer and srt dealer.

Sounds like Mike isn't too knowledgeable. I haven't seen one dyno of a Gen V that was less than 500whp. Mine made 527whp and that was one of the lower numbers I've seen, but it was in August in the heat of a FL summer and IATs were at 132.
