after having the stage 1 Arrow PCM for 7k miles I learned to love the aggressive off throttle deceleration calibrated in the tune also know as "decel pop". The Arrow stage 2 heads/cam upgrade doesn't have the decel pop calibrated in the tune so I've had to master getting the car to pop on my own (first world problem). Well, I can say I can now massage the gas pedal enough to get it the car to pop loud in any gear between 3500-4k rpm. check it a clip of my handy work.

Talk to Andy. They can reflash to add the pop back into the stage 2 caibration

Lol. Are you sure about this? If anyone was heading up the "flash back in project" it would've been Kris.
Kris - glad you posted this. I noticed mine was popping more as I got miles on her. Now I know why and at what RPM.

Seriously. I read that they were able to add the decel pop into the stage 2 calibration. I'm sure Andy had said that.

I'm positive they can't. I was the one that posted they would and sent my spare PCM back to arrow and Dick tried it but said going from a vvt cam to a fixed profile and adding decel pop or changing the deceration fueling would compromise the calibration in away he wasn't comfortable with. Believe me I ask Andy about it monthly.

Chris--on decel try letting off the gas and immediately massage the pedal a smidge to get a little gas back in it and she'll pop like the cereal.

That's very strange. This wouldn't be the first solid profile with decel burble

My car actually has a more pronounced pop with the Stage 2. Mine was the 3rd or 4th car done, I believe the pop was reduced thereafter.

All this talk about deceleration pop. I really need to get a Arrow PCM on mine. Interested in hearing it on a catless exhaust.

As Kris mentioned we worked with Dick on it for quite some time and the fixed cam doesn't allow the same type of decel pop on the stage 2 cars to be tuned in. I originally thought it would be an easy flip of a switch type addition to the calibration but learned otherwise.

I'd be more than happy to sell you one, best bang for the buck mod you can do for these cars.

It will be about a week before the snow melts. The duration and magnitude are both greater than the stock pcm. Keep in mind, this is a sampling of one car.

Does your car have any exhaust work done beyond the Headers (H/C)? The exhaust itself sounds pretty good...nice and deep.

Hi Andy,
I called and spoke with you a couple days ago. Still having a hard time finding someone in my neck of the woods to do the install. Everyone I talk to in my area has negative experience with our dealerships. There is a board member who states he has a used PCM he is willing to sell however it would need a VIN recoding. Most appealing is that he states that I would be able to install it myself and would not need a dealership to do the throttle relearn. He said this is due to it being a used PCM. Not sure about both claims and he told me to call Arrow and talk to Dale about it to confirm. Dale will be back Tuesday and I should know by then. If its not a plug and play I can do without the dealership than I'll be calling you for my order. just need to find a dealership to install it.
