ugh... I'm sure they scratched that beautiful carbon wing... not funny. Can't stand silly abuse of beautiful engineering..

Its a manufacture vehicle, who cares. Its been run through so many magazine writers hands and will probably be taken apart or crushed at some point.

BTW

I am pretty sure they aren't even allowed to give away the manufacturer cars that were used for testing and magazines, etc. I don't know if it's a law but I am sure it is policy for all the manufacturers to destroy them. (A friend of mine was a retired Ford engineer who told me this.) All the way too. They don't salvage a single fastener or stitch off of them. So, bottom line was that car could have been polished and ceramic protected after that photo and it still had a date with the crusher. So might as well get all the goofy pics out of your system with those cars.

The gal sleeping on the wing is Elana S. from Hotrod Magazine. Glad to have them writing about a Viper.

But isn't this the ACR that set the 13 records? Wouldn't they at least keep that one?

No that's not the same one.

As pointed out in the article...if it can support 1200lbs of downforce it'll be ok with the writer on it ;-)

I think the wing can probably be used to carry track tires/wheels. Just bungie them to it.
