All you fellow Snakeskin Green viper owners feel free to post pics/mods/number if you have one! I'm particularly looking for the group of 30 ACRs that were built in 2010 (green/black ACRs w/driver stripe). My all time favorite viper color, I was definitely blessed to be able to get my hands on one. I have too many pictures, so im only posting a few. There are a few more posted on my page. #23 and mine #27 were used a few times and kept at the Hallett Speedway in Oklahoma, they were both sold one to a dealership (which sold #23 for like some amazingly low price!). Mine sold to a guy who put it up for sale at World of Wheels in Iowa and was set to go up for sale at the Mecum auction in California if not sold at dealership. I was able to work a deal out and purchase it from them. #11 was owned by a guy in Virgina but he sold it, I have no clue where it is now. Canadian Viper! That's awesome you have 2!? One to drive, one to sit and show lol, that's how I'd do it :). ACRucrazy, those rims look like the sidewinder wheels from the new viper? They look awesome on it! All these SSGs are great. Thanks for the replies and pics, lets keep them coming. Hopefully we can get this list filled in more.

The airbag logo was done by Jason at Phastek Performance in Houston. He had the logo done in vinyl to replace the seatbelt logo. A piece of translucent green plastic was used to replace the black that was on the back of the bezel. The new logo is barely visible until the amber lamp comes on. 2073

That looks great wolffie99! "Factory or not it's snakeskin green", true that. I barely got my hands on the SSG I have, if I didn't get this one I would have gotten the "swapped SSG" colored one like your car from Tomball Dodge. And ACRucrazy, MtnBiker is correct that thing looks so sharp with those Wheels on it.
rw99, where did you track your ACR? I love action shots :)

Oh, and I must add...seeing all these guys from warmer states remind me of the major reason I dislike winter. Sitting and staring at my stored car drives me nuts :lame:. Also it seems like two of the best "viper oriented" shops (tomball dodge and RSI being two major ones) happen to be in Texas.... I should seriously look into a winter home down there lol, plus being a Cowboys fan I'd be closer to "home" lol.

Some Great photos posted by everyone! Ok this is what I know... Of the 30 limited editions, #'s 2,9,13,17,19,20,29 (& it looks like Shawn added #18 to his stable), came to Canada. #17 is here in Nova Scotia, and #20 is in Newfoundland. I have uploaded some pic's of the mod's I had done to mine, but as of yet, I can't figure how to add them into this post like before. Appears to be a little different than the old way, as I can't post more than 5 and they are smaller??? Help Rob :p Just to note, Tony from Venzano's did the interior and Prefix did the fuel lid. The emblem I had painted locally, and Chuck Tator installed the green dashboard lights. I also had Belanger headers and complete exhaust system added.

I have #6 of 30 here in Gettysburg, Pa. Bought last February with less than 720 miles on it for my wife. We have yet to drive it, going to clear coat the center of car from front to back so we can bury the stripes (the way the factory should have done it), then going to clear bra the whole car. I have my 08 SSG done from front to back with the clear bra, I can drive it and not worry about chips or knicks. Will post some pics of 2010 when I get home, they are such a beautiful color combo.

Interesting about #30 as it left here in 2010 for Florida and I knew it was turned in ( was leased if I remember correctly). Will check on #1 as I know where it is , and see if the guy wants to list
it here. There is another in South Dakota , another in Florida, will see if I can help out?

If I could find one in Canada that wasn't too far from where I am I would consider a trade. Mine only has 2800 miles on it and it has the full Belanger exhaust, mopar pcm and and k and N intake on it as well so Id want the car I traded for to have similar mileage and also the extra goodies. I haven't even seen my car yet so it would be nice to drive it once before I traded it off..LOL..

I love this car.

I'm drooling over this picture. One of the best pics Ive seen that shows roughly what SSG looks like. Its such a hard color to take pics of. In sunlight it just POPS so much. I remember the first time I saw one. It was driving down Deerfoot Trail in Calgary and it was in traffic coming at me and I could spot it from a few miles away. Just a glimpse of the color and the car coming at you and you just cant take your eyes off it. It really is stunning.

Anyway, he also is selling a black 2003 vert for $65k!! Idk seems a tad HIGH (it's been for sale for a while and the SSG is in the background). Regardless, if someone really wants that SSG it's available :)

Anyway....I am glad to see some of these cars sell for top dollar. Maybe one of these days some of the low production cars will start doing what the Ford GT's have done for years ...and actually increase in value. I know....unlikely, but its a nice thought.

Yes, I do agree with you..... And honestly if I hadn't found the one I own I pretty much had made up my mind that the next one I saw, so long as its in good condition, that I'd look into buying regardless of the price. The SSG, as well as a few other limited editions, are extremely hard to come by. However, that black 2003 convertible is what I truly meant was a bit crazy IMO

Sorry it took so long to reply...received the other coins yesterday and mailed them out today...really impressed w/quality.

If I put a ? of 30 on the coin, it would take up additional space and the car would have to be smaller. We are debating right now weather to just but "Viper" vs "Viper" on top and "ACR" on bottom for the same reason...more words on the coin...smaller the Viper has to be. That's why the above sample is without verbiage for now.

Here is the new toy to add to the list. 2010 narrow stripe SSG. I think its a 1 of 1 of real close in the ACR for 2010 there are not a lot of the SSG made that year. No stickers on the car anymore and I have fire suppression and some other small things to add to it as it is modified to the hilt.

While I do agree that green only looks good on a high end car starting with the Viper and then going up from there, it seems this reporter is pretty salty when talking about the new AMG GTR. Maybe it's because he knows he'll never be able to afford one? Not sure but, the new AMG looks badass...in any color. This guy needs to get back in his Prius and go home to his knitting.

New member here who just bought 3.5 weeks ago a 2010 Snakeskin Green ACR, with black tapered stripes in front, 1 of only 4 made, and I could not be happier with this bad azz machine, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!! The car was on ebay for about 1 month and I snagged her for $71,000 (with 6,850 miles). I'm sure some of you may have seen the car I bought on ebay back in October of this year. Traded in a 2016 Corvette Z06 with the A8 trans. (man that car was boring with the auto A8 trans.) This is my second Gen IV as I traded in a 2009 VOI Viper Coupe for the Vette (big mistake) but everything happens for a reason, as that ultimately led to me getting behind the wheel of my ALL TIME favorite Viper, the 2010 Snakeskin Green ACR that I just bought! The car I bought was PERFECTLY modded by Viper Guru Dan Cragin current owner of the Special Performance Team. I am a hardcore go fast guy and my new baby is a complete animal with the following go fast mods. done by Viper Guru Dan Cragin.

1. Belanger Headers and High Flow Cats.
2. Ported and Polished Cylinder Heads
3. Ported Intake Manifold
4. Ram Air Carbon Fiber Kit with K&N Filter
5. Mopar Performance Computer
6. Last but not least rear end ratio upgraded from stock 3.07 to 3.73 gears (simply outrageous).
7. Another great bonus is car was upgraded to an awesome Alpine Stereo system with kick azz speakers and blue tooth which sounds incredible (when I am not just listening to that V 10 engine purring).

This car is a complete beast and incredible looking, puts a HUGE smile on my face whenever I drive it, and I put on 700 miles in the first 3 weeks of buying her (I'm a driver not a waxer). Sorry I don't have pics. handy right now to post.

The previous owner who had a lot of knowledge on my car said 1 of the 4 of 2010 Snakeskin Green ACR with black tapered stripes was wrecked on a race track. I don't know what # of 30 mine is b/c I have not researched that, but if giving the last part of my Vin # to a knowledgeable person here who is willing to look that up, I would be glad to do that so I can help out with this thread.

Now only if it wasn't December in the suburbs of Chicago with 7 inches of fresh snow on the ground. : (

Can you post a picture. There were only three made factory in 2010 according the the numbers I have, and I own the other one, I have been told one was totaled as well. I have seen at least two others on eBay and in the wild that had the stripes as well but that were added after production to solid colored cars. Maybe there is a forth as well, there is a 2010 that had "Hulk" licence plates that I have seen photos of online as well but I have no clue where it is.

Yep! Also since they only made I believe 1 or maybe 2, Year 2010 Viper ACR in Snakeskin Green with no striping, it would not be impossible to buy that car and put on the black stripes b/c there where not enough doner ACRs to do that to in 2010.

If you look at the production number thread it shows just like I was told by the previous owner that 4 Snakeskin green 2010 ACRs were made with black tapered stripes and mine is definitely one of those (the real deal).

Mine is in San Diego. Very rare color combo would love to find the other one that is still around. There was one on eBay that was a 2010 but could not tell if the stripes were painted.

Yes sir, that no doubt its 100% my car, thank you! I bought this bad boy having been fully informed about the emission problems it had in Oregon and talked to one of the previous owners and Viper guru tuner Dan Cragin (both guys having been a wealth of knowledge for me). When I come up for emissions in IL in a year I have several ways to pass or emissions or become exempt, and seems like the doctor who owned it this past summer really struggled to do what was fairly obvious to pass omissions but he was not to well educated on this issue, causing him to give up the car (lucky for me as its the #1 Viper that I most desire when it comes to year, model, color schemes and go fast mods). :dude3:

It was night time and drove through oil on the road that I did not see until returning to the scene the next morning. Pulled out on a suburban highway and as soon as I hit the gas the car came out on me, tried to correct it but couldn't correct it (didn't know I drove through oil as it was happening). Hit a guardrail, spun around and hit another guardrail with the back of the car, then off the road and into a tree. Sadly my fiance was with me but we are both fine. Lots of scrapes and bruise's and a couple chipped teeth but all in all we are very lucky. Crazy part is that the airbags never deployed. Out of all the crazy times of raising Hell, drifting the car at 70mph and having fun, this happened when casually driving at about 50mph. Car was my baby and nearly a 10 of 10 with only 7,500 miles on it. Totally bummed.

They wanted $20K for the buy back, I would have also lost my tax credit back which means I would have really been into it for about $24K. Of course I think it sold on Copart for around $17K. As much as I think the motor and trans survived without damage, the car was hit on almost every panel. I believe the only panel without damage was the drivers side door. Crazy, the outer door shell popped clean off. My fiance was really lucky. Between the airbags not going off and the outer shell of the passenger door popping off, I seriously questioned the build quality from FCA on this car.

Thanks Guys! Yes the most important part is that we're okay. As for what's next, I tried connecting with a few people that had GenV's that I liked but I either got no response (White TA in the classifieds) or couldn't come to terms. Low and behold I was sick of looking and something else caught my eye..... I ordered a brand new Hellcat Redeye Widebody! She's currently being built, can't wait!
