This video is made up of clips from my fourth session of the day at Eagles Canyon Raceway running clockwise. Aerial footage courtesy of my new friend Aamer and his kick ass drone!

This was one of my faster laps.

I created it with a program called Dashware. Here's a tutorial on how to do it. http://driveviper.com/forums/threads/10525-HPDE-Video-Creation-Tutorial-%28Dashware-Wondershare%29

Funny how everyone gave you a wave-by except the Corvette owner... Imagine that.

Cool videos, thanks for sharing. Great sound with your telemetry setup.

So you are using an AIM solo DL and what kind of cameras? Are you using race render to synch everything up? I'm trying to figure out the best option to do this. Thanks

I'm using 3 GoPro cameras with the Solo DL. I use AIM's Race Studio 2 to pull the data from the Solo, Dashware to sync everything and add the data overlays then Wondershare to add the other views and create the final videos. My tutorial site goes into detail on all the steps. Seems like a lot of work (kinda is) but once you do it a couple of times it's not so bad and the finished product is pretty damn cool.

Thanks for the nice videos! However, NOTHING can beat the experience of being in the seat at speed on the track.

What wheels/tires/brakes were you using?
Also, what settings did you use?
Thanks!

This is extremely cool, the stillness of the drone in that first pass almost made it look CG rendered. I could feel your frustration at that C6! Good thing Mr. C7 was here to properly represent.

I was using the OEM SWII wheels, OEM Stoptech rotors/pads and Hoosier R7 tires. I have a '13 GTS so have the capability to switch to track mode however I rarely remember to switch it over! That said, I was in street mode this day.

Yeah, I was trying to be good and follow the "point by passing only" rule but just couldn't take it more than a lap and a half... Most people have no problem with letting faster cars pass though.

What size hoosiers?

What size hoosiers?

I was running 295 in front and 345 in the rear on this set but the new ones I just had mounted are 315 front. Hopefully they'll be even better.

It seems that a few members here think 315's and 345's will give the traction control fits, while others run them without issue.
Maybe you can report back after you run on these sizes as to whether that happens or not?

Thanks!

Ron

345/315 have always worked on the non ACR cars, it is just the new ACR that has different programming and tire diameters that give it fits.

Thanks for confirming Mark; I got a bit nervous for a second there. :D

Ohhhh. You had told me in a PM it would be a problem & to let you know if those sizes worked. I guess there was a misunderstanding.
Thanks Mark!

PS,
No stone guards in yet? lol

LOL no boomerangs yet, the list keeps growing though, going to be a busy day when they get here...
