Is anyone up for an Autocross? We just happen to know a little club of avid sports car nuts in College Station that’s hosting an event!
Who: TAMU Sports Car Club
When: Sunday, April 3, 2016
Where: Texas A&M Riverside Campus, Texas 47, Bryan, TX 77807
Cost: $20
Gates open: 8 a.m.
Registration: 8:00-9:15 a.m. (if you arrive after 9:15 you do not drive)
Tech: 8:15 to 9:15 a.m.
Novice walkthrough: 9:15 a.m.
Driver’s meeting: 9:30 a.m.
First car out: 9:45 a.m.
Gates close: 2:00 p.m.
Email info@houstonviperclub.com and let us know if you’re interested in joining so we can give the TAMUSC a heads up on how many Vipers will be invading. They said they would open the course up a little to give our big ol’ cars a tad more space
If you want to caravan together we can meet at the Shell station located at the intersection of HWY 105 and HWY 6 at 7 a.m.
Our VP,. Anthony Leidelmeyer set up lunch at Chicken Oil for all of us afterwards.
Your humble officers
