go to local credit unions they cant be beat. They loose money on the loan just to get you in the door .

I got a better rate through Bank of America than I did PennFed (I do most my banking with BofA, but am a member of PennFed)

Really? I have both also, will have to check on that!

I've tried a few of them and have found Penfed to be better so far.
That's why I'm still looking around for suggestions!

My local credit union does .9% for 60 mo during Black Friday if you get there by 7 AM. I have shown up the last two years to refi my Jeep and Motorcycle. Literally the best deal I have ever seen.

I was pretty happy with Wells Fargo. They beat the credit union rate as well

Milton Bank through Roanoke was the most cost effective for me on my GEN IV recently beating out all others including the credit union.

Man oh man you Americans have so many bonuses financially.
I just FOUGHT AND THREATENED and managed 5.99 ... So I paid with my LOC instead.

wells fargo dealer services gave me 1.49% over 60 months but the car was brand new and not a viper not sure if that matters (this was almost 2 years ago) They will negotiate with you on getting a lower rate. I went between them and penfed who I used to use all the time.

I've used PenFed and the Milton Banking Company.
Highly recommend them both!

Local credit union here for both of our vehicles. The best part is they declare a dividend yearly based on the amount of interest paid on loans and right now we're getting back about $500 a year. Both loans are at 1.99% but are actually lower if you figure in the yearly dividend.

Man, everything is cheaper in the US, even money! lol
I have about as good a credit rating as you can get, and have no debt, and can't get anywhere close to what you guys are getting for a car. Somewhere just under 3% secured is what I had found, so cash it was.
It's funny, when I was at the dealer, he double checked when we were negotiating, that it was a cash sale, and I told him "Yes, because your financing is sh!t."
He was kind of offended, and said "You didn't even ask about financing, so how did you know it was sh!t?"
I asked "Was it 0%?" He said "No". I said "Well it's sh!t then!" lol.
Later he said the best he's ever gotten was 4.5%. Which is normal for Canada..........
