I went out this AM and shot some photos of my '13 SRT with the new carbon fiber aero package from Xtreme. We will be selling these spoilers and splitters through our store. Fitment was great, and the spoiler and splitters are available separately ($2000 spoiler, $1000 splitters). They are 100% carbon fiber. The rear spoiler is mounted with several strips of 3M double-sided tape, no drilling required. The front splitters require removal of the front bumper cover, and 4 holes drilled per side. Not a difficult install, but it does take some time to do. While the bumper cover as off, I also installed my Woodhouse tow hook.

Anyways, on to the pics!

Car looks great! Rear spoiler looks best on Vipers without stripes...especially GTS full length stripes. IMHO.

Wayne is working on the rear tail panel, it is almost done. He is also working on a GT3-R front bumper cover, with the fog lights.

Here is another pic. Now you know what that notch in the middle is for:

I have to admit (and I hate doing that), but, other than blue I think white just shows off the curves of this car in every Gen for that matter in a very sexy way..

Love it !!

Not necessarily the wheel diameter, I went with a taller 26" tire like previous gens. The Gen 5 came with a puny 25" tall tire. Car is still stock height, btw. Rear could come down another half inch.

These look like great pieces and I'm glad to hear he's working on the rear taillight panel too.

A couple questions:
- Do the front splitters have skid guards/plates on the bottom? I thought I read the OEM ones do.
- Were these modeled 100% off the OEM pieces or were they hand done like he's doing for the Gen 3/4 cars? IE are they identical in shape to OEM and thus would provide the same downforce or simply close in performance and looks?

Thanks!

I was going too ask that question. Hard to believe that there is not that much gap, at least in the pics. Nicely done!

Excellent!! I've been saying someone should make one of these since the first time I seen the pic of a Gen5.

White is already my favorite color on Gen5, those carbon accents really set it off. I imagine pictures don't even do it justice.

No skid guards on the front, but there is a 2" wide recessed area on the entire front edge which looks like one could be placed there.

Parts were not molded from OEM parts, there are subtle differences. I think you've confused him with Steve, who is doing the hand-modeled Gen 3/4 parts. These have the same angles and contours as the OEM aero wing and splitters. I'd say they are about 90% identical.

Wayne says he will eventually make a similar rear wing for the Gen 3/4 coupe. Maybe even the Gen 2 coupe.

I didn't snap any photos of the install, as this was a prototype set up front and he has updated the attachment method now. Each of my front splitters has 4 threaded studs in the front edge, which require the holes drilled. He changed those to nut-serts to make it easier to install, using screws from inside the bumper. The rears of the splitters are held in place with the existing factory hardware.

More than the parts themselves which are beautiful, it's nice to see the aftermarket picking up where the factory has dropped another ball (how many can the drop in a row). I hope this is a little glimpse into the future of the Gen5, more aftermarket support.

SRT needs to understand that there is another side to selling high performance cars, increasing the performance.

this is what SRT says

Advanced Aerodynamics Package

Confidence at speed is must when driving any vehicle to its limits. The Advanced Aerodynamics Package takes the SRT Viper to a new level of stability by improving its downforce significantly. Included in the package are two-piece front corner splitters and a rear decklid spoiler made from ultra-lightweight carbon fiber. The added components unite for 200 pounds of added downforce at 100 mph (where legally permitted or at a race track). This very package is also featured on the 2014 SRT Viper TA.

One of the best colors to make the Gen 5 design come to life, even more so with the carbon bits.

That's about what the Gen IV Aero Coupe made. Not bad, puts it around 600lbs @ 150 mph.

Quick question on how the rear spoiler is mounted. Do you have a lot of faith in the 3M tape holding at high speeds? Have you check the break away force? If the rear spoiler happened to peal off on somebody doing a Mile event, it would be catastrophic.

The factory wing is just glued on, no fasteners. If someone were really into doing standing mile events, putting any spoilers on a car isn't a good idea. They will affect top speed. I don't agree with losing a spoiler being "catastrophic" at a mile event, especially at these slow sub-200 mph speeds. These cars would be likely to only achieve 180 mph stock.

Nineball... I'm thinking of putting on Waynes spoilers real soon. Question, how much do you think it will slow me down running till about 150? I went to Waynes shop and they look awesome, your car looks great.
