Does anyone out there know how to completely disarm a factory installed alarm? It causes me all kinds of problems and I really can't see it's purpose on a soft top with side curtains. If I do this will I still be able to start the car? Thanks all.

There is a procedure, I would reach out to Steve Fess.

I would recommend cutting NOTHING.
There is a factory specified procedure which answers original poster's question...and, it is easily reversible...and, it certainly should not be posted in an open forum.

I think I will go with Steves recommendation. It is simple and does not destroy anything. I thought Steve was very knowledgeable on the subject and I thank him.

Great, karma! LOL
Went this morning and as soon as I pulled the handle to open the door, alarm went off. Can't dis-arm it! Can't drive the car!
Need help.
Steve, I'm 6k miles away with a time difference of probably 8 hours or more.
When would be a good time to call. Need help buddy
