Wow! That's about all I can say... WOW!

I picked up a pair of rear wheels from a Gen2, and a pair of 345/35R18 MT ET Street S/S DR's over winter and had them mounted. Luckily the previous owner of my car included a set of H&R 1" Wheel Spacers b/c they came in handy when putting these wheels on. LOL!

Got a chance to take the car for a drive the last few days and OMG is it night and day difference with traction versus my daily PS2's. With my PS2's, rolling in first gear about 4000 RPM's and womping on it always gets the tires spinning and the ass moving around a bit, especially as the cam kicks in. On the MT's the car just sticks... not a sign of wheel spin at all and the car just takes the hell off. These things put a perma-grin on my face the last 2 days.

They are gonna be used for the drag strip, so I'll be putting my stock wheels back on for daily driving, but it's gonna be tough going back to "normal". May have to find some happy medium between tire longevity and traction on my next set of daily rears because damn that traction is fun. Maybe the Nitto NT50's?

Anyone thinking of the MT ET Street S/S's, I'd give a big thumbs up for them. They are the same compound as the original ET Streets, but with a little more tread pattern to help in case you get stuck in the rain. Will give a review of them after getting to the track this Spring, but I forsee some better times in my future (or broken halfshafts.... either way).

i just got a pair of m&h tires of the same size like your mickys.. i cant wait to see how they feel, i hear they are just as good as mickeys... i dont drive with pss anymore cuz those kinda tires are death traps especialy if you have 373 gears like i do.. that being said i use nitto nt05r as my daily driver tires and do a pretty good job but i know its not as sticky as a micky or m&h tire...thanks for the info..i see your from chicago, what area you from?

Yup... I still need to give your buddy a call when I'm ready... need to get my goodies installed first and then I'll be dressing it up a bit more. :-)

I agree, I usually don't run them either. When I bought these wheels I thought they would clear the brakes just fine, but they didn't, so I put on the spacers. These will just be my track tires anyhow, so won't be rolling them every day. Gonna put my stock wheels back on today so I'm not rolling around with different fronts and backs. Gonna miss the traction. :-(

I only run on these tires, they hook pretty good.

Yes my everyday tires are nitto nto5r i would not run anything harder then those tires. Especially cuz i have 373 gears traction is very hard to get with regular tires.
