I took my car in this morning. Northlands performed the R28/29 as well as reprogramed the door node, and replaced the door handles. They didn't have time for the seat track, as it is a two hour job, so I'll book that in at a later date. They did an excellent job, and finished the car by 4:00 pm this afternoon. They were very careful with the car. Carla is the service manager, Dan is shop foreman, and Shawn was the mechanic. I went on a beer run with the car and brought them an 18 pack of Canadian, and a bottle of wine for Carla, for doing such a great job. Keep in mind, this is a dealership in a town with a population of 5000 people, so cheers to Carla for going the extra mile and getting the go-ahead from the dealer rep to get the parts and service done on the car. For those of you in Ft. Mac/Lloydminster/AB/SK I highly recommend them. You won't be disappointed with their care and service of your car.

They are keeping the oil filter until the plastic bag/labels arrive. Hopefully that's next week, and then we'll see what happens from there. :Canada:

Good deal! Fingers crossed for you! As an aside, how did your door handles come out? My Viper tech was not pleased with the way the passenger side fit, so he ordered another one, and he'll put it on when I take the car in next month to get the new tires put on.

No issues with fitment for my handles. Everything turned out great. I checked the oil when I got home. It was clean as a whistle and at the correct level. "Man I like it when a plan comes together."

Would you trust them to do a heads and cam swap? I'm in Slave Lake , AB and I don't think the guys in Edmonton would care enough to do a good job and not scratch, etc... the car. They are too volume oriented and would do it as fast as possible and probably cut corners where they could. I like the small town idea as I think there is more accountability to the population from the dealer and staff. Your thoughts? Do you think the mechanic has enough Viper expertise?
